Self check-in is very convenient and usually there are no problems. The room was clean, the price was reasonable, and it was a 10-15 minute walk from the city center, which wasn't a problem for me. Suitable for those who want to stay in Aachen for a short time

My stay in this hotel was extremely disappointing. The hotel is extremely noisy. Every morning I was woken up by the clatter of cleaning buckets and the water being refilled. Someone had even stuck a note to the cleaning door asking us to be quieter as we guests were on holiday. The highlight was last night at around 6 a.m. when a couple of men in construction boots made so much noise that the whole building woke up. Loud music and shouting, constant running up and down the noisy stairs and the dropping of a heavy object woke everyone up. Even on other floors people were standing upright in bed. If I could post the recordings I made with the microphone here, I would. The breakfast was also disappointing. The lady there didn't want to give us breakfast because she couldn't speak German and didn't understand us. She was very rude and had a rude manner. The breakfast offering was very basic: four types of cold cuts, two types of cheese, three types of jam, oatmeal, chocolate snacks, cornflakes, natural and fruit yoghurt, and slices of tomato and cucumber. Simple, soggy rolls and, if you were lucky, a few slices of bread. There were apples and a good coffee machine, but the tea machine kept leaking water, so there was always a puddle on the floor. Overall, the stay was very disappointing and I would not recommend this hotel.
