Opposite the DSH test center, because it takes a long time to enter the venue, it is even too late to go to the exam after sleeping until nine o'clock, and then have breakfast, you can see the situation outside the exam room, and you can go downstairs after you enter the venue. We stayed at the Mercure Aachen Europaplatz for one night in May 2023. This was an overnight stop on our Journey from the UK to Bonn. The hotel is in a good location, very close to the motorway and with easy access to Aachen. Check in was quick and very efficient. The staff where extremely helpful and pleasant and made us feel very welcome. We had 2 rooms including a disabled room. Both where very well laid out. Clean, Functional and very comfortable. The disabled room was a wet room style which was perfect for my sister with whom I was travelling. Plenty of space, and well laid out. The only downside if anything was that the bed was a little lower then expected. We ate in the restaurant in the evening, the food was very enjoyable, the staff extremely helpful especially with getting a table set up for a wheelchair and overall seemed to be good value. Breakfast was included in the morning but had very limited choices however this may have been as we arrived close to the finishing time. Overall this was a very nice hotel with easy access, good parking, friendly staff, nice rooms and offered good value. I would not hesitate to stay here again if i had the opportunity.

This hotel is a basic low price hotel with no added extras. However if you just need somewhere cheap to stay for a short break this is ideal. The room we had was basic with minimal furniture and no tea/coffee, fridge or safe. Nevertheless it was quite spacious with a good bathroom, comfortable bed and clean. The breakfast was adequate with a reasonable choice but not fantastic. Use one of the nearby cafes instead. The location is very good - almost opposite the station, and only about 10 to 15 minutes walk to the city centre.

Our 1 night stay was good but the girl in reception is kinda rude, if we ask for a favor or question she will make face and looks tired while doing the favor or answering us. Also, the breakfast is good but small choices. But the rest are ally good and other staff.

We stayed at this hotel for 10 days while helping our son move to Aachen from a different part of Germany. The location of the hotel is extremely convenient as it is only a 5 minute walk from the train station, and about 15 minute walk to both our son's new apartment in the Frankenberger neighborhood and also to the old town. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Panayoti who spoke very good English and explained all the charges on our hotel bill clearly. The breakfast offered a variety of healthy choices and fresh baked goods and was reasonably priced. The hotel felt very safe both in terms of Covid precautions and security at night time when returning late. The only thing I felt was not quite up to my expectations were the flat pillows and firm beds. I prefer fluffier pillows and a softer bed, but it was comfortable enough for the length of our stay. When I return to Aachen, I will not hesitate to book a stay at this hotel again.

Visited Art Hotel Aachen Superior due to a work meeting hold in Aachen in mid July! The location is very quiet and not far from the centre ! We had a big almost an apartment size & style room with a huge balcony all around the room! The service is more than ok with a good functionality at the front desk! They have a pool indoors but during our stay didn’t see really anyone making use of it! I reckon , probably because is not very inviting! Normal good breakfast and polite staff! If there is another time needed to visit Aachen again I would stay at the same Hotel!!!

Nice hotel! Friendly staff working hard. The room was good, (home animal room, our dog was with). Delightful snack was ready for the dog in the room. The TV in the room was a little overcast for us. No possibility of connecting or streaming a chromecast to the TV. Nice terrace at the room. Nice garden to walk nicely. Breakfast was great for us. The hotel has a very small number of guests who are not able to take care of their staff during events (marriage, birthday and condolences at the same time). The great advantage for us was that you get an email every evening and can indicate whether you want to clean towels next day or that they have to do your whole room.

We were nicely surprised by this new (or recently refurbished?) family-run hotel. It is very cozy, laid out in a ”motel” style where each room is entered from either the courtyard or a courtyard balcony. We did not use the swimming pool but its use was offered. The courtyard garden and surroundings are beautifully kept and fit well with quite picturesque neighbourhood of Eynatten. There are five restaurants within a walking distance if you happen to arrive, like us, on Sunday night when the hotel restaurant is closed. The breakfast was very good and when there was a slight confusion as to the time the brakfast started, the family started running around and managed to start the breakfast within minutes after our (early) arrival to the breakfast room. The location close to the highway makes it a nice place to stop on a long journey.

Excellent! We arrived a little early but it was no bother and we were checked in swiftly by a very kind and professional receptionist; she was very helpful too with a great sense of humour. The rooms are very nice, big and clean and the bathroom is big, with a choice of shower heads and a separate bath. The breakfast buffet offers A LOT of options and I was impressed, it would have been perfect if they’d have served vegetarian sausages but that’s me being incredibly picky. Check out was swift plus you can also check out online or leave your keys in a drop box. There is ample parking and the location is very good as you are just off the motorway between Belgium and Germany. We booked directly with them so they offered us a little treat which was super nice. I thoroughly recommend this hotel; the parking, rooms and staff are very, very good!

There is a good breakfast that does not leave any wishes open. 2016 was a nuclear renovation, the price - performance ratio is very good. Stark recommendation !

周周The parking lot charges EUR32 per night, which is a bit outrageous. For breakfast, you can consider eating at a burger restaurant 300 meters near the hotel. The double beds are relatively large, and the environment is quiet and comfortable.

CCzyouzhoukeThe room was very clean and tidy. Although the European hotel was a bit small, the room was fully functional and clean. Because it was late at night, the hotel staff was off work at night. The hotel sent an email in advance to explain how to get the key and how to enter the room in detail. I checked in smoothly at 11:30 in the evening. The breakfast is also very good, there are many things to eat and taste good. The hotel is near the train station, it is very convenient to travel, and will choose to stay in the future.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located on a very driven street. Unfortunately, the room had no air conditioning. Therefore, it is quite noisy at open windows. The room was also in the hotel access. From 6:00 a.m. the delivery traffic has also crashed. The room was over-average large and well furnished. Personal was very friendly. Breakfast was good and sufficient. Free parking is available at the hotel. When these are full, parking remains on the main street.

Firstly in a nice double room with quite small bathroom and later in a small single room with large bathroom. Unfortunately, the shower was missing on the bathtub, but on the wall was a unconflicted stick. However, for a weekend, it was quite enough. And the friendliness of the staff there made a lot of bet again.

Wir haben in diesem laut Beschreibung Nichtraucher-Hotel eine Suite für eine Nacht gebucht. Geboten bekommen haben wir ein dreckiges (Haare im Bad etc.), schmuddliges Zimmer (Kriterien für eine Suite nicht erfüllt), welches penetrant nach kaltem Rauch und abgestandenem Essen stank. Der Gestank hängt im kompletten Hotel und ist einfach nur widerlich. Der ganze Laden ist heruntergekommen. An einen erholsamen Aufenthalt wäre in dieser Absteige beim besten Willen nicht zu denken gewesen. Wir haben das Zimmer storniert und uns ein besseres Hotel gesucht. Uns wurde der komplette Preis von 164 € berechnet, eine Einigung zu beiderseitiger Zufriedenheit war nicht möglich. Wenn man die Hotelleitung anruft, wird man beschimpft, und die ”Dame” legt einfach auf. So einen schlechten, unfreundlichen ”Service” habe ich noch nie erlebt. Das Hotel ist eine Vollkatastrophe, und ich kann nur raten, da einen großen Bogen drum zu machen.

周周About 7 minutes walk from the train station, the surrounding is relatively quiet, about 15 minutes walk to the Aachen Cathedral. The rooms are clean, the triple rooms are large, the prices are very cheap, and the price is very high. Check out the box as long as you put the key into the door. The elevator is relatively small, probably only the same three people.

GGuest UserWe stayed here as part of a coach trip. It is a cosy little family owned place, the room sizes & types varied, but ours was a decent sized twin, no complaints there. Breakfast was the usual continental offering, with several cold meats, cheeses, 3 types of bread, preserves, cereals, tea & coffee. Dinner was a set 3 course menu, all well prepared & very tasty.
