We stayed at this characterful hotel for 2 nights in room 36. Our double room had a long floor to ceiling window overlooking the river. We found the room to be basic but comfortable. The bed was very comfy. There was one easy chair plus a desk and chair, large cupboard and good sized bathroom. Two complimentary bottles of water were left daily. We found the room to be very quiet and heard no noise from other rooms during our stay (room next door was occupied but we heard nothing). Our only criticism of the room is there was no tea or coffee making facilities which is unusual these days. We ate in the restaurant one night. The food was good and plentiful. Breakfast at the hotel was a buffet with good choices of cereals, yogurts, pastries, bread, cheese, meat plus bacon and scrambled egg. The hotel is a pleasant 10 - 15 min stroll into the town of Aarschot and about 10 mins to the train station with direct links to nearby Lueven and Brussels Airport. We had a lovely stay

hotel situe dans un endroit bucolique batiment bien restauré. Manque un peu de personel et un mini bar necessaire dans la chambre serait mieux que deux bouteille d'eau soumis à la chaleur. Prevoir un nettoage des toiles d'araignées.

Wij zijn altijd zeer tevreden geweest, komen er 10 jaar met plezier. Vanmorgen om 11.02 uur kwam een medewerkster op hoge poten in de deuropening staan, verwoed op haar horloge tikkend en schreeuwde: "11.00 uur is check-out. U bent veel te laat! NU vertrekken!". Daarna maakte ruzie met haar collega op de gang waar wij bij waren. Dat kan gewoon niet. Vervolgens geven we het aan bij de receptioniste en die reageerde laconiek, negeerde ons bijna. Erg zonde.

Nous étions en voyage d'affaires donc nous n'avons pas été beaucoup présent à l'hôtel. En revanche, l'accueil au restaurant était parfait.

Er zijn zeker positieve zaken, maar helaas ook wat minpuntjes. Ingecheckt met 7 personen na 1 online booking. Iedereen incognito...geen enkele vraag naar identificatie. Onthaal was goed met voldoende uitleg. In de vooravond blijkbaar niemand meer aanwezig voor het hotel. Ingang met de code. Enorm gehorige kamers. Werkelijk alles van op de gang(ook mede door lompe gasten), de overkomende vliegtuigen tot de trein....alles hoorbaar tot op de kamer. Badkamer eerder verouderd. Ontbijt was lekker, divers en tijdig aangevuld. Slechts 1 koffiemachine werkte, en dan nog traag....Besluit : tamelijk duur voor wat het is.

Cosy hotel in central Aarschot. This old mill converted into a hotel is an ideal stay in the area. Ther rooms are clean and tidy and air conditioned. Staff friendly and helpful and it is prices reasonably. Breakfast was a buffet service which during my booking was included in the price. Suggest anyone booking double check this.

Superleuk hotel. T****e keer dat we hier overnachten en weer zeer tevreden. Oude details in de verder moderne kamers. Prachtig uitzicht. Super ontbijtbuffet. Personeel was echt gastvrij. Kregen zelfs kan koffie en heet water mee.
De brasserie was ook heel top! Zeer goed eten voor een eerlijke prijs.
Paar kleine tips:
We vonden zelf de junior suite geen meerwaarde op de gewone kamer tenzij je twee kinderen hebt ivm 2 extra bedden en grote kamer. De gewone kamer was al uitstekend van kwaliteit. Missen wel een koelkastje en een comfortabele stoel. Enkel een bureau met stoel en losse feuteuille. Ruimte genoeg voor extra zitje.
Waterkoker zou ook fijn zijn.
