Auberge Kita No Dan Dan

My wife finds out that I'm planning a drift ice trip with 4 old men who are drinking and playing mahjong. and was criticized. I had no choice but to go out with my wife for a preliminary inspection before that, in order to get in a good mood and have him sent on the trip. Arrive at Memanbetsu Airport and take the airport shuttle bus directly to the drift ice tourist boat departure point at the roadside station Abashiri Ryuhyo Highway. Unfortunately, I had to wait for the 15:30 flight right after the 14:00 departure. Luckily, there was drift ice this afternoon, and I was able to enjoy the fantastic scenery and the power of crushed ice. Unfortunately, this hotel does not have a pick-up service, so you have to drive your own car or take a taxi. There is a taxi stand at the sightseeing boat dock, but it is not always on standby. When I asked how to call the tourist information center in the hotel, they called me on the phone. Arrived in a little over 10 minutes after departure. I got the impression that the building was made by adding old storehouses and mountain huts. In the corridors leading to the lobby and guest rooms, there are a large number of various handicrafts and handicrafts on display. Evaluation of these will depend on each person's taste. However, old photographs of Ainu people were displayed, which was interesting. The room is a twin bed room in a wooden room with the same size, facilities and equipment as a city hotel. There is no bathroom in the room, only a washbasin and a shower room. However, in the ba*****t there is a large hot spring bath with a cypress bath, an open-air bath, and two private baths. It seems that this hot spring is not free-flowing. The reason I chose this place to stay is because my wife doesn't like the so-called ryokan cuisine and izakaya cuisine, so they serve light French dinner. As a result, this was the correct answer. Marinated flounder salad, scallop mousse with tomato flavored risotto, Abashiri wagyu rump steak, all of which are of good restaurant quality. Draft beer, white wine by the glass, and red by the bottle of German wine. The volume is never light and is sufficient. My wife is satisfied with these. Breakfast is Japanese, with Saikyo-yaki atka mackerel from Rausu, pork, stir-fried wood ear*, scallops in tomato soup, and dipping sauce. As someone from Kansai, I felt it was a little salty, but I guess it's a standard seasoning in Hokkaido. During breakfast, we had a good time with the Ezo squirrels who came by the window. The price is a little high, but if you think about the food, you can be satisfied.
Coral grass village Notorinosou Kagariya

Notori no shokariya is an inn located in Hokkaido, Abashiri City, Hokkaido. It faces Lake Notori and is adjacent to the coral grass community in Japan. I visited the coral grass community on this day. After sightseeing, I came to Notori no sho kagariya. There is a parking lot in front of the building and next to it. Easy to stop. I stayed in a double room this time. There is also a sofa and a spacious room. TV and refrigerator. Dryer on the washbasin. Toilet is a hot water toilet seat. Inquiries can be made on a smartphone. To the public bath. I can see coral grass community from the bathtub, but naturally, there is a sliding glass, so I can't see it if I don't stand. There is no open-air bath. Dinner is like this. I also had crab with a cherry blossom. It's big. pot. Tenpu. Kinki no tsuki. It seems to be another type if you think it is a gold eyed tsuki. Kimme tsuki is also a luxury fish, but Kimi seems to have several times the price (ki) dessert. Breakfast is like this. I'm a little happy with melon. I checked out and went out for sightseeing. It was a pretty high priced inn for me 々 to stay (laughs) The location is right in front of the coral grass community and is the best to walk. The meal was surprisingly small, but it was just good for me. The building is old, so the bath may be like that, but I want a little more contrivance. There is no elevator, so it is hard to lift your luggage on the second floor. I don't want to take the year.
Dormy Inn Abashiri

I booked for 1 night to see the drift ice the next day. Pier is walking distance from hotel. Reception was polite and helpful. There is a convenient store just opposite the hotel.
Hotel Sun Abashiri

If you endure old, dirty things, you can use it cheaply. Breakfast is poor and CP is not suitable. It is recommended to be a neighboring sukiya. It is cheap as a hotel that cannot be considered. In front of the station, there is a business hotel of the national chain, and it is a characteristic hotel as one of the choices. I was sent to the smile of the lady general and checked out.
Hokkai Hotel
4/560 Reviews
I just finished two nights at the Hotel Hokkai in Abashiri. The hotel is fairly dated, yet very, very typical of what you find outside Hokkaido's main cities. It is very easy to find, along HWY 39 that runs between Asahikawa and Abashiri. The room size, decor, and tiny unit bath are all typical, something I've seen too many times to count. So, in that sense, I knew what I was getting, and am ok with that. One particular thing bothered me though, and completely changed my view of this hotel. I was running late on Friday night, having driven the 350 km from Sapporo. When I made the reservation I guessed my time of arrival would be at 11 pm. I arrived at 11:55. This is how the conversation went. ”Hotel: X-san. We were wondering what happened to you. We called your house.” ”Me: You called my house? Why?” ”Hotel: Because you were late.” ”Me: What time did you call?” ”Hotel: At 11:15” ”Me: So, you called my house when I was only 15 minutes late?” ”Yes. The last train to Abashiri has already arrived and you weren't here.” ”Me. Why did you think I would take the train?” (NB: I have a Japanese driver's license and drive everywhere. Clearly they think non-Japanese don't drive here.) ”Hotel: didn't answer my question...” ”Me: You shouldn't call my house late at night because I'm running late.” ”Hotel: No one answered at your house.” ”Me: That's because most people are asleep then. It's 11 pm!” After that, he handed me my key and I went up to my room, not happy. Honestly, I lost all respect for the hotel at that point. I've been to 80+ countries and thousands of hotels and never has one called my house when I was late, let alone 15 minutes late. As a result, I won't be staying at this hotel again. I'd rather sleep in my car.
Toyoko Inn Hokkaido Okhotsk Abashiri Ekimae
4.5/555 Reviews
I don't think the room will change from other Toyoko Inns. If breakfast is included and it costs about 6000 yen, it is a reasonable price. Be careful as you need to bring your room clothes and amenities from the lobby. The number of breakfast items is not abundant, but you can eat in the room with basic lunch box + other ingredients (taste nori, sausage, yakisoba, etc.). You can also eat in the dining room, but because you concentrate. There is only one elevator, so you will have to wait quite a while.
