Aberdare

It's looking a bit tired but the hotel is the usual fare. The food next door is well presented and tasty. Good choices but different arrangement to usual

I stayed here with my 2 girls, who had a fab stay and want to again. The receptionist was warm and welcoming, the girls were given some colouring and encouraged to get on the reception wall of fame. It kept them occupied and they even had a certificate and goodie bag the next morning. The hotel was clean, rooms had everything, comfortable.

No aircon,resulting in an uncomfortable nights sleep, badly stained duvet, which made my wife and I feel quite sick

Room not great with bed untidy and uncomfortable. Brewers Fayre next door changed last orders to 9.30 now...on a Saturday night !!! Couldn't believe it. Also booked breakfast there. Now buffet style. Terrible. Some items only Luke warm. Children helping themselves and using fingers and handling utensils incorrectly...leaving them in the food so they were covered with egg or juices. Should be an adults serve area only to avoid this. Won't stay again as we'd love a drink before retiring for the night. This wasn't an option with their early closing.

Treat great and the staff are really nice people. They make you feel like a family and if we’ve had any problems they sorted it out straight away without questions. Kirsty, Katie Jordan and Lindsey have treated us all like stars. I would like to thank them all.

Had a issue with room but the lovely Deb & Nik sorted everything so promptly. We were given a lovely room the next night. Nothing could have gone smoother. Thank you so much for your help and to also help the banter was brilliant . You really made the stay.

Lovely hotel, staff are really nice, powerful shower, good size rooms, stayed here three times always clean and nice will request upstairs rooms as this time sleep was disturbed both nights but people upstairs. How ever avoid the pub the food is ok but service is shocking such a shame as it brings the hotel experience down. There is a kfc, greggs , domino's next door and a supermarket nice and close easy to get to the hotel. Will stay again

Greeted by a lovely receptionist, room open and spacious and very clean. Beds were amazingly comfortable! Bathroom a good size and the shower was hot and powerful! Perfect location for our waterfall searching and dipping long weekend. Pub next door for breakfast and dinner, could do a meal deal which was perfect for us. You also had the option of a supermarket, Greggs, KFC and Dominoes on the same complex. Big free car park.
