The hotel was close to restaurants and stores which is a huge plus. At the same time, not near a highway so nice and quiet! The room was dated (dining chair cracked "leather", lots of dings on walls) and not as clean as I would have liked. Parking is on the Marriott Courtyard side only, which wasn't an issue for me, but might be for elderly or people with little kids and lots of luggage as you have to walk through the Courtyard, past the check in desk to the end of the building to get to the elevators for the Residence Inn. There was no ice machine on the 6th floor and I always fill up my large Yeti in the morning as I drink ice water all day, while onsite with clients. The first morning I asked the front desk if there was an ice machine and was told the breakfast cooks could get some for me. There was a woman that happened to be standing near me and took my Yeti and filled it up. She was so sweet and really pleasant and did it for three days for me! Great staff - very attentive! However, the breakfast area is not open during the day/evening and it still would have been nice to get my own ice.

We have stayed here more than a dozen times (we even stayed on the Courtyard side once). It is a great hotel with a nice staff, and we have been pleased each time with the level of service. It's not so fun when there are the sports teams there as they tend to dominate everything, but my family will continue to return here.

Mildew. Cracked walls. Torn carpet. At least the staff was friendly? This place is so run down. It’s in need of a major update. Both bathrooms in our suite smelled like mildew. The couch was stained in several spots. If I had to guess, I’d say the carpet is 20 years old. I am struggling to understand how a hotel that charges $300+ a night can operate this way. Our kitchen was missing a toaster, the bedroom was missing the clock radio, there were only two spoons for the kids’ cereal. The lobby and bar areas are nice, but possibly the only part of the hotel given TLC. Something that was odd was the AC in the hallway was blowing like a polar vortex. It was also black in the vents. Come on, guys.

My family and I just stayed here for one night while passing through and heading to the Jersey Shore. Overall from start to end our stay was good until the very end.. When we checked in, we were greeted by a really nice man at the front desk. He gave us two rooms up on the 7th floor. One was a king studio, while the other was a king one bedroom suite. (Rooms 751 and 752) Both the rooms were super clean and spacious, there were no funky smells or odors. The beds were super comfortable as well! The next morning however before taking a shower, we witnessed a HUGE cockroach (see attached photos) in the bathtub of room 751. It completely freaked us out!! It was gross. It was totally unexpected and for that reason alone, I sadly don’t think we’d ever stay here again. It’s ashamed because this place was very clean otherwise. The front desk handled the situation really well. Bravo to them! However I would think twice about staying here again.

Room outdated, carpet coming up in bedroom, room did not feel clean, check-in lady nice but did not inform there would not be any cleaning / or restocking of towels in room over the two days we stayed. Check out lady was a bit rude. Breakfast was fair, typical hotel breakfast. Beautiful view outside the window.

Convenient to I-95. Disappointed in breakfast choices and freshness of items.

Check in was okay. Breakfast was okay. Customer sercice was good upon arrival. The room was musty, no shampoo or conditioner bottles. It looks as if it were ripped from the wall. I wasn’t given a folio, (by choice) but when I called just to get final amount, the “front desk supervisor” was extremely rude & rushed and cut me off talking to ask for my name. Didn’t get to even finish the question. I asked if she can read me the total and her response “well you didn’t get it emailed to you?” was very sarcastic. When asked for a manager, “I’m the front desk supervisor, What do you need” was the response given.

My stay here was mixed. great location, right near a stadium, felt safe and I was there with my senior dog off season so both hotels were very quiet. This is a Marriott Courtyard attached to a Marriott Residence. they give you a special door key that lets you in on both sides, the parking lot is on the COURTYARD side and it was raining - so I appreciated that key very much. Firstly, I met the housekeeping staff and they were lovely but unfortunately I do feel the standards have to be raised. I always bring Lysol wipes with me because I travel a lot and I’ve had some very unpleasant surprises upon check in, so now with covid it’s just a must. I was doing my wipe down of the surfaces and discovered what looked like instant potato flakes coming off the front edge of the dining table in the kitchen of my suite. The top was more or less clean but there was dried something (hopefully food) on the chairs as well. There was also poop in the toilet when I opened the lid, which shocked me. That’s actually not a first for me, but I think it’s only happened one other time. not a great first impression. However other than that the suite appeared to be clean, kitchen was well stocked. something was wrong with the HVAC unit and it was very noisy and this is where the story shifts. A lovely kind woman named Christy came in from engineering and fixed it immediately! Then in the morning Miss Evelyn was a ray of sunshine that made me feel great abt the hotel by the time I left. So overall ok!
