We arrived with a large party, we had many rooms and these were changed into other rooms. We were okay with this but disappointingly we were split between 2 buildings, and not many rooms were together. Several rooms required extra, stuff ie toilet roll but on the whole were tidy and seemed cleaned. Staff were tentative. The female member was helpful, kind and got cot bed set up and offered storage for buggy away from room. On arrival, it was all a bit raffly, but found our rooms fine. We received access to our room via a post it note with code on it. My child required an afternoon nap and during this the room got cold, turned out the vent was broken so a draft was coming in. Manage to sort the heater and the room became an adequate heat, not the most straight forward if you haven't worked a storage heater. The bed was comfy enough and the room enough space to set things etc. just seemed a bit slap dash renovated with many bits not tended to yet. Decor was basic but fine in my room. Was awoken at 1am till around 4am with the folk next door having evening beverages. Very frustrating as could practically here the conversation they were so noisy. Thankfully my toddler did not wake!. Addressed with staff in the morning as no way to contact a member of staff in the middle of the night without leaving my child alone and not had any compensation. The rest of the party did not have any noisy troubles with their rooms. Shower was over the bath. Did not use. Big bathroom. Hotel would not be suitable to anyone with mobility issues as many stairs and no lifts. Would not be suitable for family's as thin walls and accessibility around hotel. Would not be rushing back. Shame as hotel could be fab if every aspect from booking system, accessibility, customer service, decor, heating, noise was overhauled and updated!
