We checked into Arkaig Guesthouse on Sunday 18th August 2024 for a 2 night stay. Evelyn was so helpful she even helped us with our bags from our car in the street. We enjoyed our stay, Charlie and Evelyn were very nice, the breakfast also very good, and the location also excellent.

We stayed for three nights in Arkaig Guest House. Located north of city center, you can walk to downtown in 25 minutes. They have private parking places very close to the house which is very convenient for a city B&B (that was one of the main criteria in choosing the place!). The only dawback of the location is the noise coming from Povis Terrace when your room is on the front (earplugs have solved the matter). We had the family room that was large enough for the two of us. This room is well equipped and comfortable but the bathroom was a bit small, especially when you are 6'3" tall. Evelyn and Charlie, our hosts, were friendly and prepared us nice Scottish breakfast.

Lovely clean room. Bed very comfy. Tea tray stocked daily. Breakfast was amazing. Lovely couple own it and nothing was to much very friendly would definitely return if in Aberdeen. We had a double room at the back of the house private shower room and TV had plenty channels. Internet was easy to connect to and fast. Would highly recommend for a lovely weekend away in Aberdeen

The hosts were very welcoming. The room was spotless. Amazing full scottish breakfast with high quality produce. Great choice for the continental breakfast too. Perfect location for what we required. Would definitely stay here again

Stayed here for 2 nights when away on a trip with friends. Our hosts were extremely friendly and very attentive, always making sure we were enjoying are stay and asking if we needed anything. Facilities were great. Comfy beds, en suite with shower, smart TV which we could connect phones to, tea and coffee facilities, hair dryer etc. anything you could need. Breakfast was amazing. We had a full Scottish which was cooked perfectly. There was also a selection of fruit, yoghurt, cereals and juices to help yourself to. We had a great experience staying here and would highly recommend.

We stayed here Monday 29th and found it great value. Ample free parking, very clean and fresh, superb breakfast- did not need any lunch! Evelyn and Charlie are warm, friendly hosts. We felt it was like a home from home

A really great place to stay. Warm and friendly environment, in a splendid location. Evelyn and Charlie were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. Room was clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Wonderful hosts who made us feel welcome. Glad we took their travel tips for getting from Aberdeen to Inverness because it took us through gorgeous scenery. The room is tidy and no nonsense with a hearty breakfast. Easy parking. Would stay again.
