We have stayed in other local Premier Inns and this one is definitely the best. Despite being an older building than others nearby, the rooms are good. The best thing about it is how helpful and friendly the staff are. They particularly went out of their way to make my 3 year old feel welcome.

Oxford, nice little place around the university area, a day of graduation, which we saw a lot of youngster drinking out of prosecco bottles walking along the street. something I was not expecting to see, apparently tradition. We stayed in a premiere inn Dicot 15 mins drive from, never again, rooms were smelly, Noisy, request 2 rooms near each other, rang 3 times to confirm, when we got there they said it wasn't possible yet we had confirmation?? we had booked for breakfast but they said we had only paid for one the breakfast hostess followed us round asking us to pay 4 times, we finally got to sort it with a reception person. 3 + child of our party left Saturday evening they didn't feel happy in the room. pretty disappointed in premier inn.

The hotel is in an ideal location to visit my daughter, it's close to so many interesting places to visit. I didn't expect to have to pay extra for parking but that was the only downside. The room was large and spacious, but the best bit was the bed, it was amazing, it was sooooo comfy that I didn't want to get out of bed in the morning.

When we arrived we was given a room key but didn’t get told which room and when we turned to ask the person on reception they had gone. The main lights in the room didn’t work. There is no security lock on the door. There was a lot of noise in the corridors. Wasn’t family friendly, the floor in the room felt dirty, the staff were nowhere to be seen. We have stayed in multiple premier inns but wouldnt recommend this one

myself and my husband stayed here for onne night this weekend to visit family in oxfordshire, we were woken early morning by children running up and down their room above ours, I also had a disturbed sleepless night due to the matress not being of the same quality that we have always had at premier inn, it was a lower bed, and the mattress not to the same standard, (my feelings) one other thing that was extreemly annoying the act of getting shampoo/bathwash out of the bottle is reddiculous, the spout is to short and you are lucky to collect a litttle on the edge of your hand, I would really like a Premier Inn executive to try getting soap out when standing or in my case sitting in a shower, We had Breakfast in the adjoining Beefeater, but there were so many Children running around making a mess with food all over the floor, we were both worried about falling over, as niether myself and my husband are steady on our feet and have to use walking sticks, A suggestion would be a low accessible area for children to get thier food away from the adult area (Cerial and breads etc) they will feel important and will not be running around under adult feet trying to carry hot breakfast and hot drinks,

We stayed here twice in October 24 on our way to and back from Dorset. This is a tired premier inn in need of refurbisment. The receptionist couldn't find my booking it turned out it had been filed incorrectly but it took too long to find he also booked us into the restaurant at the wrong time The extractor fan in the toilet in our room would not switch off. The TV controls would not switch off the TV, When I asked at reception I was told everything is 15 years old and he couldn't do anything. i found a sensor on the TV which turned it off. They also now charge for parking at this premier inn, a recent change! Beware there are better ones than this.

Hotel is showing its age but is in a good location. Room smelled a little damp but this may have come from outside area which was a little overgrown. Breakfast not as good as usual for a premier inn. Evening meal was very good value and tasted good. Quite a few families with young children and staff were very nice.

As soon as the door was opened the smell of mould hit us. I went into the bathroom to check in there whilst my other half checked around the windows. Yes there was bits of mould around the bath and the taps, as well as the windows but nothing to explain the really strong smell.

We were originally booked in Abingdon but on arrival at the newest premier inn it soon became apparent there's issues there. Checkin machines not working, no staff and restaurant closed . We had booked the meal deal as we had been travelling since 6am so to arrive and find this wasn't great. The manager Josh managed to move us after an hour mostly due to being inundated with check-ins and the rest of the staff having going AWOL..so fair play to him being as happy and helpful as he was under pressure. We arrived in Didcot to be met by a super happy and helpful Ravi who apologised on behalf of the other hotel and sorted us a room, complimentary parking and went and made up our room himself dropping in a few packets of various flavour biscuits for the children. So what originally could have been an unhappy start to our holiday turned into a great start. Food at the attached Beefeater was excellent and good breakfast also Thanks again to Ravi.
