Hotel Nilo

It’s a nightmare place which ruined our three day Acapulco experience! Extremely noisy throughout the day due to a nonstop construction. Don’t even think about booking it as it will ruin your Acapulco holiday. This hotel should not be called a ‘hotel’, should be a ‘motel’, and should definitely not charge so much. It’s by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed.

This hotel should NOT be open for guests! It’s a construction zone with extreme noise of drilling and hammer smashing from early morning to very late at night. You can not sleep or rest at all. I can not believe they charge so much money for a construction zone. I told the receptionist multiple times to do something but she simply ignored my requests. I understand that things have to be fixed but, in this case, the place should charge clients way less and inform of such a situation beforehand. I do not want to pay full price for the renovation. On top of that, there is no hot water, as promised, and the internet connection is a joke. I end up using my mobile 4G more stable internet connection instead. There is no kettle, plate or a cup to borrow as you may in any hostel when you travel in the world. Avoid this place and save money by choosing another hotel!

The hotel was empty. I think I might have been the only guest. My room was upgraded to the penthouse, which was fine but not in fantastic condition. Pool was great. Just a little bit of a surreal experience, like something from the walking dead

The front desk personnel made me feel welcome, they provided outstanding customer service

Not bad for the price. Area pretty run down. Beach is pretty crummy. TV was local only no cable.

Good
