The spa was amazing just a shame the room wasn’t. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable and we were woken up to recycling of glass bottles at 5:45am which I didn’t think would be so loud from the 8th floor but it was! Found it hard work to check in took longer than expected with not much communication as to why it was taking longer to find us a room even though we had already prepaid. Shame the hotel isn’t up to the same amazing standard as the spa.

My wife and I came to celebrate our anniversary with a spa day and as it was my birthday we decided to book the room for the night. We were absolutely amazed. Not only were the staff absolutely awesome, but they give us an upgrade plus free breakfast and when we got to the room we were greeted with rose petals on the bed, Welsh cakes on a slate and cards for our anniversary and birthday. All in all they really went out of their way and it made our stay absolutely incredible. I can’t thank the staff enough. We would highly recommend staying there

We stayed tor two nights over the busy festive period which meant that we returned for rest. In that respects, our hotel room was cosy, quiet and the bed just right for restful sleep.

I wanted to provide some feedback on my recent stay. The room was very hot, and since the air conditioning wasn't working, we were given a fan instead. Additionally, we were not informed about the extra £10 charge per person for a 'spa day' to use the pool, which was confusing as I only wanted a quick swim. It was very disappointing that hotel guests were not allowed even a brief 10-minute pool time. Lastly, the reception desk was quite small, and with three staff members talking over each other, the experience felt chaotic. Thank you for your attention to these matters.

I felt the hotel was overpriced but on the whole good. What did irritate me was that having paid a 'premium rate' to stay in a city centre hotel, many of the facilities were only available at an additional cost (ie. Car Parking, Use of Pool, etc.). This pricing policy will make me think twice before using this hotel or web site in the future

The bathroom was lovely...the room was not as modern as I was expecting it to be. The meal from the restaurant was poorly done and lacked taste. Service from the workers was good, though.

High price - especially when you have to pay for your overnight parking (I paid £17.00) and then if you want to have a swim it'll cost you another tenner! Cheeky buggers. Staff very pleasant and our room, although a bit 'tired' was spacious and light with a super comfy bed. Restaurant - staff again very pleasant but I was rather confused about my dinner wich consisted on half a plate of saute potatoes, a chicken schnitzel and a large bowl of cherry tomatoes. That's it. Chicken cooked perfectly, saute potatoes weren't actually saute, just deep fried slices and what I was supposed to do with so many tomatoes I have no idea but it was a pretty boring dinner and I would recommend it.

Base at cardiff but friends visit me for their holiday. Everything is great, easy to go to the city centre. Staff are nice even after midnight. Can't imagine that I will leave cardiff later ...

Nice hotel, really good spa treatments. Would have given 5 happy faces for everything, but the restaurant food and service wasn't great. But overall would recommend.
