Addis Ababa Hotels with Airport pickup service

I stayed in Hotel Lobelia for a total of 5 nights during 3 separate times in July. The hotel is conveniently located, just a 10min drive from Bole international airport, & a free hotel airport shuttle is provided. This was perfect for me as I had to fly in & out of Addis Ababa a couple of times as I traveled around Ethiopia. Besides being close to the airport, the hotel is also very close to many other establishments, such as restaurants, cafes, shops, mall, etc. There is also an ATM just outside the hotel lobby so this was extra convenient. The 3 different rooms I stayed in during my 3 separate stays were all spacious, satisfactory, & clean. The bed was quite comfortable, & the wifi worked well in the room. There was also a separate seating area. A menu for the restaurant, as well as all the services offered by the hotel are also conveniently provided on the desk in the room. The bathrooms are quite small, however, and can use some upgrades, but overall it was fine, and the hot water shower was great. On one of my stays, I did end up getting upgraded to one of the suites, which was a very big room with a very big bathroom. They serve a buffet breakfast which typically included traditional Ethiopian dishes, and sometimes eggs & pancakes, in addition to toast, fruits, juices, coffee, & tea. Besides breakfast, food is available all day at their restaurant, as well as room service. The food at the restaurant is quite good so I did eat here a couple of times. Laundry service was also good – I dropped it off just before 8:30am & got it back just after lunch. They also have luggage storage, which I used to store my big backpack, while I traveled to other parts of Ethiopia with just a small backpack. The overall service is really good here; plus, all the staff, from the reception to the restaurant to the shuttle service, are really nice, friendly, & accommodating. There was always someone to answer any questions and provide any assistance needed, which I really appreciated. This hotel is definitely good value for a short stay in Addis Ababa with easy access to the airport.

Very excellent hotel, the location is great, very clean from inside and outside. I hope they get a better system of knowing that travellers are coming, and while all booking are done online, plus paid. Asking for confirmation number, is a great way to start. I’m not writing this review to say anything bad about this hotel, but I have been in a very smaller hotel than this, and they automatically know that I have a confirmation, and booking has been done. Meanwhile, the biggest hotel they should know quickly than that. I love the stuff they are very great. I love the breakfast, but with the price of the rooms, I think that breakfast should be included in the rooms. I really appreciate the generosity. I Also, look forward in the future stay there. The location is good, opposite a small shopping mall and a 5-minute walk from the Orthodox Church. The service is friendly, the breakfast is rich and you can order cappuccino for free. There are also sports center, art gallery, massage... and other facilities. I am satisfied.

Room need update very poor facilities but i can't request anymore orther than country conditions I appreciate workers cooporation and listen to customers and breakfast and meals were very good taste 👍🏾👍🏾 like coffee and papaya juice Thanks for short stay in transit time

Hotel is located in a bit of a quiet area. Staff is really friendly and they clean your room on daily base. WiFi connection is really good!! Restaurant is good and very flexible. They cook the dish you would like to eat! Some things that might be improved: locker and a refrigerator on the room would be nice. Also shower was a bit broken but was nice warm water to use!

This hotel is situated in the in-transit area of the international airport in Addis Ababa and well worth the money if you have a long layover. The room is lovely and clean, the shower - heavely, and the bed - sublime. In addition, the breakfast buffet had a wonderful variety and was really delicious. The airport shops and restaurants are very expensive and facilities not great, so it is definitely worth booking into the hotel. It's considerably cheaper to book through trip.com, just be sure to book at least a day in advance if you are landing very early - bookings need to be confirmed by the office which only opens at 8am (Ethiopia time). (My photos don't do the bed or shower justice!)

Close to the airport, it should be the best hotel in Addis! The breakfast is particularly rich, with Western, Ethiopian specialties, and even a Chinese food corner. The hotel is large, like a maze, and the gym is also good, with new and complete equipment. Will stay here next time!

I stayed at Holiday Hotel from 22 to 29 December. The staff were phenomenal. Many amenities to include airport shuttle, free breakfast, room service, laundry service, and a wonderful restaurant and bar. The room was clean and had modern amenities. Bed was very comfortable. I was treated so well for my short time there. If someone wants to support small business while getting all of the perks of a chain hotel, I recommend Holiday Hotel.

Elgel Hotel is very comfortable the rooms are very nice and clean and they have given me a best service with delicious international and local foods Thier complimentary steam and sauna is very attractive I have faced a strange issue stolen my phone outside of the hotel and the front office supervisor Halofom Assist me to report to the sub cities police station.. Thank you so much I am happy to book here again

The hotel discriminates against white people. Employees communicate harshly and irresponsibly. - transfer from the airport was not provided, although I wrote to them in the comments to the booking, on the website, by email, on the WhatsApp phone number provided. They didn’t meet me, I took a taxi at my own expense and they simply said “sorry.” - they demand payment ONLY in dollars, and they want to give change in birr, under the pretext “we have an official exchange rate.” But under the pretext of “take birr at the official rate,” they refuse to white people. One of the employees said “you should pay in dollars and take change in birr to help our country.” - there was no hot water in the room, they tried to fix it for an hour before moving me to another room. I spent half a day waiting. - cockroaches. - water is leaking from the shower - I asked for a transfer to the airport, because they didn’t meet me, they said “sorry, the transfer is only for international flights. Sorry again that we didn’t meet you.” - I paid for the last day, but since the plane was delayed, I didn’t stop. They refused to return the money, because “everything is already in the system,” but they also refused to provide a RECEIPT! Blatant lie, everything goes into your pocket! At least give me a receipt and pay your taxes! Or for the sake of a good relationship, you can return the money! Guys, I'm sorry to leave a bad review.
