Caribbean Village Agador - All Inclusive

If you read the reviews before booking you wouldn’t book. After booking then reading the reviews we had very low expectations, how wrong could we have been. This our second trip to Morocco, our first time was in a 5* hotel which was amazing but we have enjoyed this time much better at this hotel and felt more relaxed. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and has different expectations, I personally do not go away to watch tv which is yes dated in the room, nor do I plan to spend more than a few hours in my room other than to sleep and shower. The rooms are dated, but very clean we had a problem on the front door, but was sorted within 5 minutes on telling the hotel staff. All the hotel staff were incredible, the entertainment was great! People moan about the wait at the bar, but if you are shouting and moaning thinking you should be served straight away because you feel entitled as you’re all inclusive. Even though the complex was running at a fraction of its capacity everything was still available expect from the snack bar. The food was great, as there is such a large selection I think you’d find it impossible to not find something you would like. Omelettes cooked to order for breakfast, fresh hand made pizzas and fresh authentic food cooked throughout the service. You could easily find fault if your look but you can anywhere, you get what you pay for but we found we got more for our value for money. So much so we booked to go back in March for another 4 nights as a family for a short break.

On booking we looked at the reviews and were alittle apprehensive about the hotel. I don’t no where all these people have been staying but this hotel is very good. Yes it is dated, yes it could do alittle work but it is cheap but clean and comfortable. The rooms are traditional, spacious. We did have an issue with our door to the balcony not closing but this was fixed immediately and with no fuss. All the staff are friendly and work so so hard, some of the guests were giving them a hard time but treat people with respect and that’s what you get in return! The pool is great for younger kids, it’s split off so they can only go the shallow area, and what we found is that there were plenty of floats that they could use without having to go and buy more! Everyone who we spoke to was friendly, we made some really great people out there. The entertainment was great - and the animation team work so hard. This is our second time in Agadir, first to this hotel. Last time we stayed at a 5* hotel and I would say I enjoyed this much better. The food is great, I don’t know what people have been eating but there is something for everyone. There was only one evening where I didn’t really like the food but I still ate something. There is shops onsite where you can buy all different things ie bags, trainers, jewellery, clothes. There is also a shop onsite for snacks, reasonably priced and a tip for you. If you are staying here, don’t change any money. Bring £ with you and change at the shop you get a much better rate than the airport. There is also a cash machine on site with only a small charge but this is the same for any cash machine you use - so don’t worry. But bring cash with you. The cleaners are lovely , they will look after you and bring fresh towels if requested . The rooms are safe you can leave items out and they won’t go missing, we left all different things and nothing got taken. On leaving if you have a late flight time you can pay to keep your room which is roughly £23 and you have that until 6pm ask reception they are fine. This hotel is in a great location, we stayed further out of town last time. You are within walking distance to the beach, shops. Do go out and see what Morocco has to offer, there are some really beautiful places. Please please give this hotel a chance you won’t be disappointed, if you are wanting a cheap get away, it is a little gem and we have already booked to go back in March.

Absolutely disgraceful, it’s all inclusive but they limit what you can have. Bar staff lie and pretend to pour you a drink with no alcohol. Limited stock. No snacks by pool. Can’t bring towels out. You have to put a deposit down and get towels. No amenities like hairdryer etc. careful as the market traders will happily rip you of. Transfers included but no one turned up. Do not stay at this hotel. It’s a disgrace
