Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Freundlichkeit einer Mitarbeiterin der Rezeption mit Namen Mania, die sich nach einem Sturz mit Armbruch rührend um mich gekümmert hat. Nach Verständigung des Arztes begleitete sie mich ins Krankenhaus in Agios Nikolaos, managte die Anmeldung und unterstützte mich nachhaltig auch in der sprachlichen Verständigung. Danke noch einmal an Mania!

This hotel is in the group Leading Hotels of the World and to be in that group this could certainly do with an update and refurbishment. However, the saving grace without doubt was the staff. They were all pleasant, friendly and helpful and special mention of Eleni in the restaurant and breakfast area. They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable giving us three rooms near each other and offering late check-out. The breakfast buffet had an enormous selection and the quality of food in the top restaurant was excellent, although the desserts were limited. The grounds were attractive and in good condition. The beach was well-maintained and the beach facilities clean and attentive beach staff. However, this hotel should come with a big warning that it is not really suitable for people with mobility difficulties or elderly as there are steps and slopes everywhere. Added to this the direction signage and lighting needs improvement. However, a good hotel for families as plenty to do.

Our family holiday to Elounda Beach hotel was fabulous, the hotel is beautiful with gorgeous sea and mountain views in every direction it is a perfect setting. The staff were all extremely friendly, professional and helpful, there is a lovely atmosphere. The food was delicious, an amazing range of fresh and healthy breakfast options and lots of sweet and delicious treats. The hotel restaurants for dinner were all superb with great variety and again wonderful service. The amenities at the resort are superb, we played tennis every day and my sons played football and basketball each day. The beach is perfect with comfortable sunloungers and a supply of fresh towels and table service for drinks. Our rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated with extremely comfortable beds. Hotel bathrooms had lovely Korres toiletries, jacuzzi baths and steam showers. It’s a really stylish, chic hotel and the attention to detail from the beautiful logo to attentive staff it made for a wonderful family holiday. We would love to return.

The hotel is in a wonderful location. Great, grounds, beach and pool facilities. Breakfast and dinner with the half board package had lots of options. Buying drinks is a bit pricey as a word of caution. To note the staff here work very hard across the day and night - one member of the the team stood out to us during our stay, which has made our visit super special due to the attentive and genuine care from the hotel operations supervisor Lina Gkouna. Lina provided a crash course in useful Greek language, has remembered our names and made us feel very welcome - this is also apparent with other hotel guests too. To note there was a private event being held at the sister hotel Elounda Palace, this was very loud the first day and ran into the early morning. The staff were apologetic and provided alternative places to swim whilst this event was running.

We had a good stay at this hotel. Upon arrival we were upgraded to a deluxe sea view room the spa building, we were very grateful for this although were slightly disappointed that there wasn’t much of a sea view as the room was on the ground floor. We enjoyed spending time at the resort’s main beach, the sun loungers were very comfortable and the sea crystal clear with a sandy floor. The music from the beach bar was a bit loud though, but we sat far enough away for it not to be a problem. The grassy area surrounding the pool was overgrown and needed some landscaping, which was a shame because this was a nice area to spend time. We enjoyed all of the restaurants for dinner and thought the food was very good. However some staff were not particularly friendly and service wasn’t consistent. We really enjoyed having drinks at the main lobby bar and the lady serving drinks along with the pianist were excellent. We also liked the bar on the jetty, with fantastic views over the bay. Overall we had a good break at this hotel.

This was our first time at Elounda Beach and couldn’t have been better. We stayed in a classic bungalow with a lovely sea view . The room was comfortable, maybe a bit tired in places. The shower wasn’t great but the jacuzzi bath was good and fruit and wine was a nice touch. Also lovely and clean. We had a nice welcome from Kostas , and he and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful . Also Laura from guest services was fabulous. The food was delicious in all of the restaurants especially the Italian and Japanese The only disappointing meal was the Greek one.chewy pork and cold chips . Not really up to standard. The breakfast was great. Plenty of choice. Staff excellent. Loved Panagiotis and Georgios . Pool and beach lovely. Excellent pool boys and staff on beach. Nice to have sun beds and umbrella without fighting for them. My husband had to visit the doctor twice as he had a bad back . She was excellent and really helpful. All the staff were really kind . We had great use of the buggies ,as he couldn’t walk far ! I would like to thank Lina at guest communications, as she was also great help with our needs. We loved it so much we have booked again next year!

Our thanks once again to the many staff at Elounda Beach Hotel who work so hard to provide a wonderful holiday experience. As returning guests of many years we feel at home from the moment we arrive and are welcomed by the lovely guest experience team, it was a pleasure to be welcomed by the smiling face of Laura and several others of the team. Demetri the excellent food and beverage manager works so hard to maintain a very high standard of quality and service. All the leaders and dedicated team members at Blu Lagoon,Argonaut and Kafenion deserve a special mention, there are too many to name individually but they all provide an exceptional level of service as do Marianna and Eleni whose friendly and efficient service at breakfast ensure that the day gets off to a good start. Our needs are anticipated and our favourite choices remembered by many of the staff especially Giannis at Kafenion, such thoughtfulness is much appreciated. We should also mention the beach staff who look after us so well and the staff at Veghera bar. We look forward to returning next year and meanwhile wish the team a good winter
