What a surprise. Entrance, garage, check-in were so easy. But there was another big surprise: we were upgraded to a Suite. Room and bathroom were prefect and clean. The restaurant food was very good. There is a nice terrace overlooking the large swimming pool. The staff was very professional and extremely friendly. Breakfast was a very well appointed buffet. The location was perfect for us. Not too far from the freeway without the drawbacks and not too far from Lugano that can be reached in less than half hour. We highly recommend this hotel.

We had a wonder stay for two nights. The hotel is a classic with lots of history and a perfect location for walking to the town or enjoying a swim in the Lake. The formal restaurant was outstanding. Be sure to ask for a room with a view of the lake. The Pizza restaurant was perfect for a casual dinner with a great view.

[Suitenhotel Paco Paradiso] (Lugano Station) The hotel is not at Lugano train station, closer to the next stop Paradiso. Out of the train station, you need to push the luggage to go uphill, walk 15-20min, very tiring. The hotel is built on the hillside and on the mountain, so Lobby is on the 2nd floor. And we booked the terrace room, in the PL floor, lawn, recliner, lake view, sunset... After all, it belongs to the Italian-speaking area, so the staff looks more like a passionate Italian. When checking in, there will be a welcoming welcome drink and a coupon to print the name of the occupant. The blonde glasses sister at the front desk will send us to the room and introduce the hotel facilities and opening hours all the way. At the moment of opening the door, I was shocked. The room area is not limited to the 24 square meters marked on the website. It is so big... Once the bedroom is in another room, the living room will be very spacious. The large writing desk is convenient for me to open the computer to process the mail. In the living room, two pull-down children's beds are hidden, which is suitable for a family of four. Slippers, shampoo and hair care kits, hotel amenities. The automatic flushing smart cover is installed in the toilet bowl. Compared to the balcony room upstairs, the room with its own garden terrace feels more like a house, lake view, and unobstructed view. Gym, sauna, bar, nightlife, choice. The first 2 items are free. We thought we would send it to the nearest Paradiso train station. No, the driver sent us directly to the more Lugano station, 20min, and went downhill. This hotel (197 CHF/night, excluding breakfast) is more suitable for leisure vacations. Sign up at the hotel front desk for activities: mountain climbing, culture and art. When you leave, go to Foxtown and sweep the goods.

The rooms are very nice and the environment is beautiful. Sitting on the balcony of the room, listening to birds, drinking a little wine, and admiring the lights of Lugano Lake and the mountain homes on the opposite side, it is really a treat. The room is equipped with an electric kettle, shampoo, and shower gel. You need to bring your own dental appliances and slippers.

We loved our staying! Excellent location and service! Everyone was very nice and helpful. The reception staff gave us all the necessary information for moving around Lugano and the cleaning staff did an exceptional work! Of course, every guest should visit and eat at the restaurant. Delicious plates and perfect service! I would also like to give my personal thanks to Barbara who made everything she could to make our staying even better. Our baby loved her and I would love to see her again!

Just beside the cable car station. The cable car takes three minutes to the train station. The hotel has a free cable car card. Warm, warm, free drinks and drinks in the lobby. Wangzhong is quiet. The surrounding shopping restaurant is very convenient, a few steps to the lake. Recommended to stay. But I booked a deluxe room, which is larger than a desk, and it is the highest price in several prices. But the ordinary room given by the hotel does not have a desk. I am too lazy to say it. The next price will be booked at the lowest price.

Very pleasant stay at The View, the view from the room is really beautiful. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The amenities in the Junior Suite were good, although the many LED lights that could not be turned off at night were annoying.

Very friendly staff in service, reception and bar. Good cuisine, which is however closed on Sunday and Monday evenings. The room was clean and well furnished but dark and without the advertised mountain view but directly on a residential building. The beds were very comfortable though. The reserved and confirmed parking space was not available. In the vicinity there are only short-term parking spaces. The breakfast is very, very modest. The wine from the wine vending machine on the 1st floor not recommended. All in all a nice, clean 3 star hotel but way too expensive.

We stayed here for 1 night whilst travelling from the UK to Italy. Our stay did not start well unfortunately. We arrived in the middle of some roadworks outside the hotel and in the surrounding area. Coupled with the fact that we had a roofbox on our car, reception suggested that we entered the hotel car park via a different entrance rather than the one a short distance from reception on the hotel grounds. The receptionist wasn't very aware of the roadworks and proceeded to vaguely show me on the map how to get to the other car park entrance. It was clear she did not know and actually told me the wrong way! It took me 25 mins to find the correct route to the car park entrance due to the deviations, roadworks and traffic! Not a great start. Next, I arrived at the room that we had been allocated - I had booked a deluxe room (for 3 people through hotels.com) - this was not a deluxe room, although much bigger it was a ground floor apartment with 2 separate bedrooms with no air conditioning and a lounge a couple of short corridors away from the bedrooms which did have air conditioning! Bearing in mind the daytime temperatures at the time were 33-34 degrees, we were not going to have a good night sleep! Back to reception to complain, initially saying that they did not have any other rooms left however they did eventually offer us a deluxe room with air conditioning that fed nicely into the main bedroom - that is all we wanted and what I had actually booked! They set up a third bed in the room for my daughter, problem solved! Location was very good with excellent views of the lake, a 10-15 mins walk into the centre which was fine for us. Buffet breakfast was excellent, we chose to sit outside on a lovely terrace with lake views. Service was very good. We then used the outside pool facilities and loungers until mid afternoon - again all excellent, clean, lovely pool, and when we left, we were sad that we could only stay for 1 night! In the end the room problems were resolved, the morning receptionists providing us with a free drink in the bar for the inconveniences caused however it could have been avoided if I had been given the room that I had booked from the start and better training should be given to the receptionists so that they know exactly what instructions to give to clients on how to reach the hotel car park. Would I stay here again? Yes, I would.
