The Sebel Whitsundays

The room itself was ok, however rooms balcony was unmaintained and dangerous and an external light lit our bedroom all night, which made it difficult to sleep.

Parking is no issue. For the price we paid for 2 people but got a 2 bedroom apartment with ocean view, it was a great deal. Would come back.

Felt that our 1 bedroom spa room did not meet the expectations of staying at a Sebel property. The room totally lacked character. The kitchenette was very small and didn't have sufficient space to allow meal preparation. Whilst the room had a microwave it did NOT have any microwave dishes for cooking or reheating food. The fridge was iced up which isn't expected in hotels of this quality. The bedroom was smallish and dimly lit. 1or the reading lights was inoperative and the blind cords were broken which again wasn't expected in a Sebel property. Rooms face onto the swimming pool and this can be noisy. It wasn't all bad as the washing machine and dryer were both newish. The spa was also nice although does require a big step to answer. Others have commented on the steep driveway which is a challenge. Reception is only staffed until 8pm which again is below what I'd expect from a Sebel resort. The staff however did ring to ensure ease of entry after hours The resort isn't near the shops and restaurants being a 15 minute walk along a busy road. It is slightly longer but much more pleasant to walk via the port of Airlie.

Nice big room with a big balcony and a great view. Room amenties were excellent and the pool and spa were lovely. Short walk to town for restaurants and shopping and a short walk to the Port of Airlie Beach for tours and transportation to Hamilton Island Airport.

Excellent views, great pool area. Nice and quiet. Terrific comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Great parking. Building/decore felt a little outdated.

Very comfortable bed. The bathroom was a bit old. When taking shower the water spilled on the floor.
