Single room is quite small. Bed is hard and only one blanket provided. Not allowed to adjust temperature in room. It is kinda cold during mid night. Breakfast is just average. Don’t expect it too much. The price is a little bit over value although it costs 8000 yen only.

The room was quite nice and spacious, the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the onsens, especially the outdoor baths. The buffet was, however, more than average and well below anything we've had elsewhere. Note the unlimited beers and sake for the meal.

It's about a 5-10 minute walk from the bus stop at Higashiyama Onsen Station, with a picturesque view. It's a bit of a walk from the West Wing where I stayed to the bath, but I like wandering around hotels so it's no problem. The indoor bath is large and seems like it could fit dozens of people at once. It felt really good. The dinner buffet is divided into two parts, but there is a 30 minute overlap, so there were no seats, so we were guided to the second buffet venue. This is just a large room, so it's a bit lonely, and it's a hassle to go and get the food. That said, it doesn't really bother me as long as the food is delicious. The front desk staff were also kind, and I'd like to use their services again.

It was very clean and I had a comfortable stay. However, I was a little bothered by the noise of the facilities, probably because I made the reservation on the same day.

I booked this property through Jalan because of my budget and the grade, and stayed there at the end of September. The price was just over 9,150 yen, check-in was until 6 p.m., and dinner and breakfast were served as a buffet. At this time of year, they have a skewered fried food festival, so I ate quail skewers. However, it was heavy for my stomach. The breakfast was too much. The room was equipped with business hotel🏨 facilities and had a unit bath. It is expensive to make a reservation through Jalan, so I recommend making a reservation through the official website, and it is also easier to make reservations at affiliated hotels🏨. The bath is large for its location, but it is on the third floor of the East Building, so I had to walk. Since it is a hotel from the late Showa period, there are karaoke🎤 and game🎮 facilities. However, both of the machines seem to need to be replaced with new ones. I couldn't use the karaoke🎤 because it is a reservation system, but the machine in the game room🎮 was a relatively old model. The spring water is sulfate, which is effective for nervousness, muscle pain, poor circulation, chronic gastrointestinal inflammation, etc.

It's not a high-end inn, but it's enjoyable. The hot spring bath has 1000 years of history. If you add the dinner option, they'll reserve a seat for you. There are a fair number of dishes, but it's a buffet, so it's only so-so. It's reasonably priced, so it seems to be popular with seniors and families. The staff were polite and helpful.
