Hotels near E.Leclerc Leclerc Rocade, Ajaccio

Leesa greeted us professionally on arrival, and provided us with Room 208; one of the historic rooms on the hotel. This generously-sized room had windows/doors opening onto a wrap around balcony so we had east-west AND north-south views. The bathroom also had doors that opened onto the balcony and all had outside shutters so the light an d privacy could be controlled. The room was spotlessly clean, and peaceful, restful and quiet. The bed was comfy, as were the pillows, and the linens were of good quality and expertly laundered. Parking is right on the street, and we had little trouble finding a spot within 50 feet of the door. That said, Leesa said I was lucky to find it. All in all this hotel provided an excellent value and the staff could not have been nicer. The area is great for walking so one we parked the car, we didn’t use it again u til we departed the hotel. There are many attractions bars, restaurants, shops and services within steps of the front door. There is even a proper barber on the same street, and I noticed a place for laundry on our sojourns. The area felt very safe and was well-lit in the evening. Two minimal disappointments and in fairness we didn’t discover them until it was too late to call the desk; -the heated towel rack in our room did not work, so a sink full of laundry didn’t dry overnight. It did dry on the east-west part of the balcony after the sun came up. - a lack of luggage racks in the room. One suit case went on the desk and the others were just on the floor. The wonderful and efficient Leesa also recommended and booked a table for us at Marinette, where we were treated to an excellent meal, prepared by the namesake’s grandson. Leesa also recommended an excellent knitwear designer’s clothing shop across the street, called Nine (pronounced Neene)

Even if the hotel is a little old, the staff is really pleasant. Good litter, quiet and well placed. A problem with the TV orders but it was offset by the welcome with a free coffee / growing in the morning of departure, sympathetic ☺️

We had a very nice stay here! From the room quality with an amazing sea view, a very beautiful complete breakfast, everything is perfect to fulfill your experience! We also tried both restaurants, the meAl are delicious and are made with high quality ingredients!! Don’t forget to try all the desserts and also the cocktails front of the sunset in the beautiful garden!! It was our first time in Corsica, and nit the last for sure!! Sofitel see you soon!!

Résidence très agréable,le personnel est accueillant et sympathique ! Les studios vue mer sont bien équipés ,la vue est juste magnifique on peut profiter du lever et du coucher du soleil !Le soir les îles sanguinaires sont juste magnifiques!!

Quite clean and neat. Modern concrete hotel, large rooms each with a balcony. Each room had a kitchenette - so I think this was designed more as an apparthotel set up. Some noise at night till 1am - nightclub across the field opposite. Very anonymous corridors, few lifts. Good pool. 10 minutes walk to beach, restaurants etc - but not an easy walk, some of the hotel's path lights were out, bushes growing into the path, there was not a continuous pavement, and cars parked in the drive (where it clearly said No Parking). Breakfast good, even at 0630. We did not have evening meals there - too late in the season? Staff friendly
