Good things first is the location and Ajmer is cheap place to get around. The owner said he is administrator for dargah so can make things easier for visit. Shopping areas are nearby and decent. There is nice lakes in Ajmer.
To be honest it was not my favourite stay. Windows are not in every room but there are lights into the corridors and vents so this is not a huge problem. The rooms are basic(price was also less so fair enough). Bathroom was new. Water is warm. The building itself is nice
I asked for menu twice, no one brought it during my stay. Tea is 25rs and water. I didn't feel like having another one after seeing price
On my final day before last I was asked for 200rs to submit the C form for foreigners. I was not happy but paid. The receptionist said we did not say it was included on the online booking, hence it is chargeable.(But i could argue that it doesn't say it's chargeable so it makes it free?)
No hotel I book ever mentions it and no one ever charges me. I felt this was a mean trick to be honest. Especially because it is free to submit online and it is the hotel's responsibility. They are not doing it as a service to me. It's a basic admin task and their legal responsibility.
I finished my trip by moving to a different hotel because my stay made me more tired. If I had a plan for visiting different places I may return as the price was cheap but if I am going to Ajmer for relaxing then it was not a relaxing place for me.
