Very nice island and was greeted gleefully by a team of staff who were very nice at the jetty to get on the boat headed for the island. Ramesh from Srilanka was very nice guy who was really good at his job. Elly was the guide on the boat itself and great guy too. Reached the hotel on the island and was greeted by George who was very kind and explained everything very well. Overall great stay. Only drawback was the pricing of the activities which I felt were overpriced and also didn’t get prompt responses on the hotel app chat even though I was specifically told that was the fastest way to communicate. Food and staff at olio Italian restaurant was super. And let and probably the best part of our trip was the safari and a guy called younis who was super informative and made it a memorable trip. Also one thing been noticing recently with quite a few resort hotels is the staff look artificially happy not like they want to be there. Anyway overall great stay and one night is more than enough to be honest on this island as during this month of January sea water is super cold so can’t really swim in the sea and enjoy the beach. Pools were temperature controlled so that was great. One point to be noted is while arriving the staff were extra friendly and helpful but while leaving not much communication and no water or wet towels provided either. It felt like they welcome u greatly but then send u off on ur way without real care. 😎🤷🏽♂️

We had a 2 day stay which was absolutely spectacular. The room, view, breakfast, 5 stars. However you cant expect anything less from Anantara. The feather in the cap was the service provided by Thilanka from housekeeping. He ensured all our requirements were met without being asked. Such a kind warm person. A big thanks to him. And we cant end the review without mentioning Delano, our safari guide, very formative. Made our safari delightful.

The hotel is upgrading and sent me an email in advance to apologize. The outside is fenced off. The service is OK, but the combs provided by the hotel are of terrible quality! My mother said it is really not worthy of this hotel. The hotel dinner is quite delicious, especially the lamb chops, which are really well grilled. The snacks are also delicious, and the desserts are huge, we didn't finish them. The breakfast is really average, except for the breakfast in the liwa desert, which is the worst. The hotel swimming pool is not particularly clean.

The room is large and clean. The balcony overlooks the swimming pool and the Persian Gulf. It is very cost-effective. It is located on the northernmost side of the island. The hotel will arrange various activities. You can make reservations and arrangements after arrival.

The most affordable of the three Anantara hotels on Sir Bani Yas Island, it is also a sea view hotel (the other two villas are more desert-style and not close to the sea). Overall, for most mainland tourists, this small island is less crowded, beautiful, blue sea, and many animals, so it should be worth experiencing! (The disadvantage is that it costs about 500 dirhams to take a taxi from Abu Dhabi one way, and it takes 3 hours. If you need the phone number of the local taxi driver, you can leave a message. He is an Indian brother who speaks good English, is punctual, trustworthy and polite) The hotel room is quite standard. The standard room is equipped with a bathtub and a balcony (with two lounge chairs). Capsule coffee and mineral water are replenished daily, and you can ask for more if they are not enough. Service: The hotel service is very good. Whether it is the front desk, the restaurant or the guide staff who go to safari to see animals, they are warm and gentle. Any needs in the room, such as a bucket of ice, will be delivered in time. Facilities: The hotel is not new, but it is a retro country style, which does not affect it. We are a group of three people staying here. We added a small bed, which cost 440 dirhams per night with breakfast. The small bed creaked and was barely slept. Environment: The overall environment of the hotel is excellent. A small island with most facilities is artificial, showing the strength of the rich country all the time. Every tree is carefully maintained by a special drip irrigation. I believe that most of the uu who chooses Sarbaniya hope to meet animals unexpectedly. The season we went there (early August) was really hot. It felt difficult to go out between noon and 5pm, as the temperature felt uncomfortable (but I still insisted on walking around). After 5pm, we walked around the mangroves and artificial lagoon area near the hotel and at the door. It was very beautiful. Common birds were peacocks, gazelles and sika deer (they were still quite afraid of people, so it was best to watch them from about five meters away). We could inadvertently see green parrots, flamingos, various sandpipers from a distance, and of course the most common were yellow-rumped bulbuls and crows 🐦⬛.

It seems to be the off-season. The sea view room I booked was upgraded to a single-family villa. It is next to the African restaurant. The extra bed in the triple room doesn't feel very good. The unshaded curtain above the bed is easy to fall dust and sawdust. There are also small spiders and insects. It's too ecological and scary, but the king-sized bed is just enough for us sisters to sleep. We had a lot of fun out. Call in advance to book the boat time to the island. If you drive, drive directly to the reception desk, and they will help you park and take your luggage. Then walk for about 15 minutes and then take a minibus to the island hotel to check in. Service: The best and most enthusiastic service, whether it is accommodation or catering, it is really a nice smiling service! There are many projects on the island, and you can book land and water activities, but you need to book in advance. If you like it, book it before checking in. When we went to book Safari on the day, it was full, and the other activities on the second day conflicted. My friends regretted not riding horses. The beach is beautiful. When the weather is cool in the evening, you must go to the beach pool to swim 🏊♀️. It is very pleasant to walk along the beach and blow the wind at sunset. There is an Italian restaurant by the sea. I ordered shrimp and pasta, but it was not as delicious as the African restaurant in the morning. But the beach was really fun. I recommend the beef ribs and breakfast in the African restaurant. Safari was also very novel for someone like me who doesn't see animals often. There's not much else. It was a good trip and unforgettable!

The hotel staff is very friendly

This is my third time on the island. I am very satisfied with everything. The staff is friendly and helpful, the breakfast is rich, deer and peacocks can be seen everywhere outdoors, and it is very comfortable to sit by the sea when the sun sets!

I originally chose this hotel because it had animal viewing activities. However, it turned out that it was difficult to contact the hotel to reserve boats and activities on the island. Most of the emails I sent were never returned. The most embarrassing thing is that we originally booked a boat to go to the island at 3 o'clock that day, but we drove for four hours to get there. When we were about to arrive, we were notified by email that we could not go to the island due to weather conditions. After we arrived at the pier, they initially said they were coordinating the boat. After waiting for an hour, they still couldn't land on the island and told us to find a hotel by ourselves. We could only drive more than two hours to Abu Dhabi to find a hotel by ourselves. The whole day was wasted driving. The hotel's compensation is only 500 deposit which can be used for future stays. I flew for more than ten hours, and all my precious travel time, energy, and gas expenses were only worth the 500 deposit? At the same time, the weather when we arrived at the pier is as shown. I don’t know where the bad weather is.

The overall experience was average and the price-performance ratio was not high. We were trapped by the wind and waves and were forced to stay one extra night. Although we stayed at a discount for the second night, it seriously affected my itinerary. As a result, all plans in Abu Dhabi were disrupted, and there was no time to go to the Abraham House. Only the next day did we find out that a guest had left by boat that day. We paid money to check in when our itinerary was affected, and we immediately felt that we were not being treated fairly. The manager is quite service-minded. He helped me communicate and cancel my booking at the hotel I originally booked. He also made me feel professionally that the room rate for my next stay was much more favorable than others. Finally, I would like to thank Ctrip for helping me deal with my situation. He said that it helped me recover some losses. In the future, I would choose Ctrip for all my travels!

It's a very quiet island. In fact, the three hotels on the island are all owned by the same group, so booking this one is the most cost-effective. The facilities are a bit old, but fortunately the service staff are very enthusiastic and the sunset is really beautiful. The activity of watching animals on the island is 350 dirhams per person. It is considered as a simple version of African Safari and you can see giraffes. It is recommended to drive there from Abu Dhabi as it is not cost-effective to take a taxi.
