Al Dhafra Hotels with Pools

The location for filming the dunes, where many celebrities check in, takes about three hours from Dubai to the hotel. The hotel is in the heart of the desert, and there is only one hotel nearby. It feels like one day is enough, and two days is a bit boring. The hotel's entertainment projects include camel riding, sand rushing, and off-road vehicle experience, but the price is not very close to the people. The hotel is 7,000, and the fare is 4,500. Overall, it is a bit far, but it is worth staying.

Very nice island and was greeted gleefully by a team of staff who were very nice at the jetty to get on the boat headed for the island. Ramesh from Srilanka was very nice guy who was really good at his job. Elly was the guide on the boat itself and great guy too. Reached the hotel on the island and was greeted by George who was very kind and explained everything very well. Overall great stay. Only drawback was the pricing of the activities which I felt were overpriced and also didn’t get prompt responses on the hotel app chat even though I was specifically told that was the fastest way to communicate. Food and staff at olio Italian restaurant was super. And let and probably the best part of our trip was the safari and a guy called younis who was super informative and made it a memorable trip. Also one thing been noticing recently with quite a few resort hotels is the staff look artificially happy not like they want to be there. Anyway overall great stay and one night is more than enough to be honest on this island as during this month of January sea water is super cold so can’t really swim in the sea and enjoy the beach. Pools were temperature controlled so that was great. One point to be noted is while arriving the staff were extra friendly and helpful but while leaving not much communication and no water or wet towels provided either. It felt like they welcome u greatly but then send u off on ur way without real care. 😎🤷🏽♂️

The Anatara Desert Hotel in Abu Dhabi, which was originally booked, was temporarily requisitioned by the royal family and forced me to cancel the order. Fortunately, Ctrip subsidized me, I found Anantara on the island of Sabania, the result is worthwhile, almost the same as the desert hotel, feeling playability or Sabania high!

The hotel is particularly good, no matter the key to the hotel or the hotel facilities, it is just too far away from Dubai. I am doing a Dubai tour. Because there are guests living in Xi'er Island, I chose a surrounding hotel to pick up the next day. The hotel is about a hundred rooms, all of which are beautiful sea view rooms. You can swim at the beach, have your own open-air swimming pool, have a gym, have a small garden, and breakfast is good.

Some of the staff seem poorly trained, and our experience celebrating my friend’s birthday here was disappointing. The room we were assigned was so bad, and although they claimed all rooms were booked and couldn’t move us, rooms were still available online. The property was informed in advance of the birthday, but no arrangements were made. We ordered a cake ourselves, but it arrived without “Happy Birthday” on it—a detail that was overlooked, making us feel like they didn’t care. When we raised the room issue with Bilal at the front desk, his response was unprofessional and unsuited to hospitality. There was poor communication overall, with the reception and other staff providing inconsistent information. Despite these issues, two staff members went above and beyond to offer exceptional service: Niven and Naser from the F&B department. Naser was incredibly accommodating and welcoming—he provided us with valuable information about the property and handled all our needs during the stay. He even arranged a complimentary cake for my friend’s birthday, even though it was nearly checkout time, clearly doing his best to make us feel valued. Niven was also very kind and professional. Their efforts truly made a positive difference in our experience. Their exceptional service stood out but couldn’t completely offset our disappointment. Not sure if we’ll be back

Very nice, the environment is very good, the resort hotel. But the location is really remote and there is nothing around. However, the hotel has its own beach, which is not bad, and there are other hotels nearby, so there are several options for eating. There is also a Korean restaurant next to it, mainly to provide services for the nuclear power plant built by the Koreans nearby, and the food is good.

We arrived in a hot Tuesday afternoon and the hotel was not that busy. We met the front office staff Jese and she greeted us well offered us a room next to the pool with a view overlooking the dunes. Pool was nice and warm- ideal for kids and family with a pool bar around. Dinner was exceptional, we went for the alacart option and never expected the potions to be so big and filling. Kitchen and restaurant staff was fabulous!! Specially Chef Dhananjaya, Janith, Zulfiqar and F & B Eshe and Talha. Thanks for making our stay memorable!!!

Liwa dunes are a fantastic setting where every experience is breathtaking. We stayed in 2 bedrooms villa. Comfortable and clean. The private pool was great. The views are stunning anytime of the day. The electric carts shuttle service works very well between villas and main building. The spa was great experience The staff is friendly and helpful It was quite hot so activities were limited. But we did archery and that was fun. The hotel restaurant is humble but fair enough. Lunch buffet was slightly under par but dinner buffet and bbq grill was better. Overall experience was great even though the Liwa magic does most of it. Some point that could be better: - there is no mini bars and drinks have to go through in room orders. - the hotel has no bar or lounge for ling drinks which could be great to have especially in the good season - in summertime there must be better drinking water dispensing. - might be good to consider shampoo and showergel holders inside the bath cubicle We will definitely come in winter season for a more complete experience. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We were upgraded to a Seaview room which we really appreciated. However, I can't say it's exactly 5 stars yet, as someone who has been to five star hotels across 4 countries, there are certain stuff missing such a complimentary robes and slippers, toothbrushes etc, but of course the hotel is still fairly new and will probably improve over time. Cons during our stay: -There was construction there and the exits to the beach were closed. - There wasn't any buffet dinner the 1st few nights, they kept pushing out the time for dinner as they were hosting a soccer team and the buffet was planned accordingly to their timing, usually past 9.30pm which was too late. - The lunch and dinner menu is still fairly small. - The soccer team (young guys) were quite noisy at early parts of the morning in the outside breakfast area which was just outside our window. - The buffet dinner on Christmas day was absolutely small. - No bathtub in room and could not see which room had a tub listed online as it just mentioned '' shower or tub''. - Gym is extremely small. Pros: -Beautiful sea view. - Located in a Quiet and peaceful environment. - Lulu supermarket located just outside the hotel which makes it convenient. - Rooms had mini kitchen with cutlery and pots etc, washing machine and microwave, fridge etc, which was nice. - House keeping was available on request at any time. - House keeping staff were very friendly. - Security guard was very helpful and friendly. - We could have a small barbecue on the beach at late hours of the night. - Plenty parking. - Sea view room had a balcony. - Hotel provided a mini needle and cotton set which I found unusual and cute, definitely not something I've seen at other hotels. Overall the place has an amazing view, and I'm sure will improve as they develop and get more tourists. We enjoyed our stay and recommend it to others.
