We looked at so many options of riads for our stay in Imlil and I am so glad that we chose this one! Incredible hospitality and the staff goes above and beyond. The views from the terraces are incredible. The included breakfast is very good. They allowed us to leave our bags here when we did our overnight of Toubkal and even let us do our laundry before we left. It’s a great location with an easy 5 minute walk to shops, restaurants, etc. I honestly can’t say enough about how helpful and amazing the staff are. Highly recommend staying here while in Imlil!

If I could give this place 7 stars out of 5, I would. This riad was a highlight of our trip - not only is the guesthouse itself perfect, but more importantly, the family running it are so kind, authentic and helpful, that you immediately feel it is a home away from home. The riad is fantastically located with panoramic views of the valley and the surrounding mountains including the Jebek Toubkal, the tallest mountain in North Africa. The rooms all have wonderful details like a few items of Berber clothing for you to try on either to keep warm or simply for fun and plaster decoration on the ceiling. They are quiet, clean and comfortable with showers with excellent water pressure and hot water. The food is excellent and served in a dining room draped with Berber rugs and surrounded by delictately carved wooden furniture, with the panoramic view of the mountains. We also enjoyed chatting with other guests here. Most importantly, the manager Rashid is a kind and energetic soul who will go above and beyond to ensure you have a great trip. We arrived late on the first day, after a long drive, and he showed up in the village centre to help us navigate the rickety road to get to the guesthouse; he managed to sort out rooms for us when we booked super last minute and theoretically the guesthouse was all booked up (including arranging one at his uncle's place next door); he organized a guided trek up Toubkal for us with a great guide (Hassan) for a reasonable price; he lent us a sleeping bag and gloves for the trip, at no extra cost; and he spent time chatting with us, in a way that made us feel like friends, not clients, and gave us a great insight into local life. His niece, Bouchra (apologies if the spelling is wrong, I should have asked how to spell it!), who helps him run the guesthouse was also an absolute star - thanks to both of you! Staying with you was really special.

GGuest UserWhat a wonderful experience with this team in the High Atlas Mountains. We booked a 2 night stay at Atlas Prestige and wished we had stayed another night. The mountain vistas were breathtaking. They organised a beautiful one-day hike traversing around the Imlil Valley with a private knowledgeable guide and lunch at a Berber House which was excellent value for money. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The Included breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed the 3 course home cooked dinners at 10Euro per person (which included fresh bread, a soup, a different tagine meal each night and fresh fruit). They also organised our private transfers from Marrakech which were reasonable compared to other prices we received. Would highly recommend a relaxing stay for minimum 2 nights. Thank you to all the staff. We will return

GGuest UserThis is a fabulous place to stay either overnight or longer. We were a party of 6 and stayed 3 nights. The Ecolodge is a very peaceful place. The garden are well kept, super pool with plenty of loungers. We had breakfast and dinners outside in the sunshine which was a joy. The food was excellent and plenty of it, all prepared in a spotless kitchen. We were there for walking, either from the lodge or further over in the Toubkal mountains. Mohamed the lodge manager was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble, from arranging guides and taxis, even providing a mule and handler, in case my ankle gave out on our walk. He has a great sense of humour and went the extra mile to make our stay as perfect as it could be. We had a warm welcome from him and he arranged really lovely guides. The Eco lodge is very lucky to have him. Top man😄

GGuest UserIt's a beautiful hotel which is very clean. Staff are very friendly & go out of their way to make the stay enjoyable - especially Salah & Abdou, in our case. They did a fantastic job organising our daughters 18th birthday. Petals were laid on her bed while we were out exploring. They decorated the poolside with banners & balloons and set a beautiful candlelit table. They made a vegan chocolate cake as my husband has a dairy allergy. The cake was brought in to the music of Happy Birthday Cha Cha Cha!!! However, the road to the hotel is very rugged & gravelly. There is no street lighting to the hotel, which makes driving difficult at night time. Also, the meal on our second night was a bit disappointing. The chicken kebabs were tastless. Having said this, I would definitely go back to the hotel again for the pampering, which is just what we needed. Thank you, Salah, Abdou & Zora.

GGuest UserThis is the fourth time we have visited Morocco and we always ask for “Abdou” by name. He is an excellent driver, safely negotiating busy town centres and motorways alike. He always keeps his vehicle in immaculate condition. He has an excellent instinct for what interests us, local markets, historic places and we feel safe and well cared for with Abdou. He chooses local guides personally. He finds places to eat that offer good food and good value. When we arrive at a Riad, he always ensures that we and our luggage are safely conveyed to where we are staying. We are on a 4 centre tour this time which we would not have wanted to undertake without Abdou.

SsteveriglerVery peaceful surroundings with many beautiful friendly peacocks freely walking around. Owner pleasant and lives in the riad. Staff friendly. It’s around twenty minutes out of the city but free transport is laid on if you have booked the through Bookings.com. We did not but it’s easy to get to the city by just walking 5 minutes to the main road….plenty of shared taxis vans and even locals will take you…..1 euro 60p. Nice pool and another large pool ready in a few weeks. Massive gardens with olive and lemon trees. Great stay and will certainly return in the future. Enjoy! We certainly did.
