The biggest thing is the smell of sewage in the room. It was unbearable. The last night I had to literally use oils I had to try and not smell it. The noise levels the night before from a party was not fun. The room itself is roomy and super basic. It was quite clean and that I appreciated. The smell though again, unbearable. The smell seemed to permeate much of the hotel. Breakfast was super mediocre. The smell of fried food in there was quite gross and stuck with you. I avoided breakfast the last 2 mornings bc it just wasn’t worth it. Sorry! The beach and pool area were nice though and it was in a great location close to lots of things.

I fixed it for me. He stayed for a total of 10 nights, and then I was guaranteed by my Visa credit card. The hotel is good but! !! !! Everyone must pay attention! Don't guarantee with a Visa credit card. I never filled my credit card with information, only this time. Then a month later, it was stolen a few days ago! Although it is tens of dollars, but the staff of this hotel is too unreliable. Sorry for this brand. No such thing happened to Waldorf as I lived elsewhere. My uncle also said that the hotel had Indian waiters and the attitude was not good. I hope everyone has a heart, don't use visa abroad! !!

The location is spectacular specially with rooms having golf course views. However service standards to be enhanced for sure. Service staff members are way too casual but they are well mannered and friendly. Food is also good specially breakfast! Dinner can be little better. Honestly a nice one specially at a pocket friendly budget

Complain, complain, complain! ! ! Garbage front desk The front desk staff of this hotel has very poor working ability. On the surface, whatever you ask her, she replies OK, but behind the scenes, she doesn’t do anything for you. There was a European and American-looking woman with yellow hair in a separate window on the right side of the check-in front desk. The service was very poor. During the first check-in, I showed her my ID and the English version of the hotel order. I also told her to check in, and then I checked in. I asked if it was a double bed room with sea view, breakfast, etc. In the end, I was given two beach towels, a bath towel card and a drink card for the bar next to it, but I was not given a room card. I was given a paper box for the room card. Write down the room number and make a room card, and tell you to go to the bar. Are you carrying a lot of bags just to ask her to apply for two bath towel cards? Such a wicked person at the front desk, she can tell at a glance whether she did it on purpose. , the front desk is rubbish. I hope Ctrip staff can understand the situation. Their manager knew it. At that time, he asked the man next to him to apply again. He asked their manager for instructions and must report and complain to the front desk! ! ! Compatriots avoid pitfalls

It feels good in every way

The place is very new, rooms are big, bed is very comfortable and pool is very nice. Restaurant is good and the food choices are many.

We have recently returned from the most wonderful break at the Double tree Hilton Hotel in Marjhan Island, our second time in this relaxing environment. We had a night flight from Bham and landed about 8am in Dubai, we had the complimentary hotel transport from and to the airport and i had emailed ahead of time to ensure this was secured. At check in we had to wait a couple of hours for a room, but we new this from our previous visit so had packed swim stuff in our hand luggage but after wandering around and grabbing some food this wasn’t a huge issue for us. There is a tax to pay on check in approx £60. We opted to stay in the bay view rooms, having been upgraded to these on our first visit we didn’t want to miss out on the spacious room and the wonderful views. I had emailed ahead requesting a higher floor and we were fortunate to be granted this with Ade our brilliant housekeeper looking after us. These rooms are incredible with a rainforest shower and huge bath. Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries are replaced daily, as are towels, robes are also available. With these rooms there is a separate dining room, with a huge buffet choice at every meal. There are themed nights of German and Asian foods but otherwise international - and plentiful, as a vegetarian i had many options. The service within the restaurant was unbelievable with glasses being topped up and service constantly. We would like to mention several staff who made our dining experience - Maisie who makes the most lovely omelettes and listens when you say ‘well cooked’, Sailu and Ganesh went above and beyond with refreshments and Tim who checked at each meal that we had what we needed. There is a traffic light system advising when there are the busiest and quieter times. We ate breakfast at the Meze restaurant several times as this alternative was included too. There is the option to eat at the speciality restaurants with a deduction 60AED per person at each meal. We ate at The Anchor a couple of times and would definitely recommend the food, and the lunchtime buffet at the brasserie was plentiful and all included - there are so many food options. We sunbathed on the beach most days and beach towels can be obtained daily. Sun loungers and umberella’s were plentiful, we did secure our early as we are early risers enjoying the quietness of the morning. The beach is heavenly and the sea is beautiful. We purchased an inflatable from the site shop which cost approximately £35. Seems a lot but well worth the money as we opted for the one that allows the body to float in the water whilst supported, this enabled us to remain cool in the heat and lie in the sea reading and relaxing. We took towel pegs but these aren’t really needed as not windy. Worth taking goggles and the sea is crystal clear and fish are visible. One recommendation is to take a walk outside of the hotel. We went here with friends who has holidayed here when it had just opened. We had a 10. night holiday booked with BA we arrived the early hours of Sunday 9th of October. We unpacked went to bed after looking around room in daylight next morning I wasnt impressed, we had 1 b/towel so hubby went down and asked for another also we asked for extra coathangers as there were only 4 (for 2 people) ?? The towel s did appear but no coathangers on trying the shower the head from the shower only produced a trickle so we asked if someone could check it for us . The light in the bathroom was flickering when we looked in it this is what we saw (see 1st photo ) there were two lights one either side of the sink both full.of dead flies they fixed the flickering light but the the other light though working was still full of dead flies ???????? Long story short they never fixed the shower we gave up asking for it to be fixed and used the small head on the shower. The 2nd photo is the photo is the mess that greeted us on our bathroom floor when we returned to our room after our 3rd request for the shower to be fixed (at least we assumed)they were trying to fix the shower head ) why else would you leave s bathroom in that state 😡😡😡😡😡😡 It was 5.30 and we had dinner booked for 6.30 i went ballistic hubby thought i was blaming him he threw one of the white bath towels over it and to cease arguung about this awful room iI.didn't complain about the room after that I decided it was easier to just put up with it and keep.the peace I should have at the start of the holiday demanded to move rooms and it would have been a much nicer holiday. We had paid for two upgrades and this room was certainly not worth the price we paid. The hotel does have good points the staff are amazing resturant and bar staff are some of the best we have ever had rhe privilage of meeting. Shout out for Peter and the Pizza chef in the Italian we enjoyed your singing and they are fabulous people . Also shout out for Nushta in the lobby bar but there were too any lovely staff to.mention by name the staff are certainly a great asset to the hotel. We really used only the a la carte restaurants in the evening for dinner and they r amazing always managed to book.a table and we loved the Italian at lunchtime too. I dont do brekkie but hubby and our friends did . The main areas of the hotel are lovely and reasonably kept seats are stained quite badly in some places and do need upgrading . The weather was fab food was good staff amazing but the photos of our room speak for themselves. I should gave made a stand at the start of the holiday regarding the room but then again no 5 star hotel should have a room in this condition.

Great place to stay in based on the prices they offer

We stayed in the family Villa with pool view. The staff all around the hotel were amazing, assisting us at all times and making sure our stay was most comfortable. They have many pools situated at different locations around the hotel but the pool where we stayed has the coldest temperature which was perfect for this hot weather. You can hop on a buggy to get around or take a stroll to any place in the hotel. The beach is calm and perfect for a relaxing time. Their buffet breakfast and dinner was a wide variety and the food was excellent.
