I don’t mind paying for another day if I arrive early but I couldn’t understand why they lied to me. I came to the hotel at 3:30 in the morning of the day I booked for check-in. I was told to pay in full and didn’t get a breakfast. The guy at the front desk said I should come downstairs to check in again at 12:00 for another room because they didn’t have the type of none smoking room I booked. It was all fine. You didn’t allow me spend several hours in the sofa in the lobby “because we are are five star hotel!”(although during the coming several days I have seen people including myself and my colleagues staying in the sofas all the time without paying for any coffee or snacks). The pain I had is they told me to wait until 3pm for changing rooms. I called the front desk several times and in the end called back to China to talk to Ctrip. The guy who changed me full day for less than 7 hours stay has seen my Ctrip booking in my cellphone. The lady at front counter told me they didn’t know I had another booking! Don’t understand what system they were using to manage the hotel. Eventually I carried my luggage out to lunch and then got my other room at 1:30pm. Regarding hardware I want to complain about the bench in front of the bed. It was a hard and heavy thing that would break your knees if you hit it during the night if you go t bathroom or come back for sleep. Couldn’t understand why in such a small room they want to squeeze everything in. The lattice for salad in breakfast had sands. Maybe I was unlucky? Anyway as a guy who stays in five stars all the time I would not come back to this hotel in the future.

We had a good experience with my friends. Food was so great and service by all the crew was superb specially Mr. Jason. The band was also great. We will definitely going back again at Sofitel to experience again the great service they were offering.

November 27-30, room 730 Our stay was perfect from check in till check out. The hotel is very clean, taking care of all the hygiene requirements. Special thanks to Ms. Receptionist in the front desk & Ms. duty manager during our check-in; upgraded our suite to better one, with beautiful sea view. The breakfast restaurant has a lot of varieties with a very beautiful sea view.Thanks to all the team . The only negative thing in this hotel is the bad smell from the lounge next to the breakfast restaurant; it seems that the smoking & shisha are allowed in this lounge while this lounge is not an open place. Our thanks to the housekeeper Mr Noor; always on time room very clean with full amenities. Thanks the Mr. Salih from the concierge desk & to all in the hotel for their attention, follow-up & polite attitudes.

The sheets are not clean and without inner filling, the pillows are worn out, the bathrooms are not clean, and the receptionist did not receive us well, Nouf. This is not the first time I come to the hotel. I used to visit it every time I came....

Very Comfortable stay, nice and cozy rooms with excellent breakfast spread. A very reliable laundry service along with courteous staff. Do not miss out on the fitness centre with excellent views of the sea and at time you may also get a glimpse of Bahrain.

The staff provides great, professional service. I especially appreciate Saidul for servicing my room and keeping it comfortable and clean throughout my stay here. Whenever our paths crossed in the hallway he offered his assistance with anything that I may require. Overall the hotel is comfortable, clean and has good amenities to make your stay complete.
