it was Trulli(magnificent)idea to choose stay at the Trullidea! First of all: the location is great - at the very center of the Alberobello Trulli vilagge, but a bit aside which wakes it even more comfortable. The house has got everything you need: little kitchen, with coffeemaker and other facilities, fine bathroom, large bed, and a sitting part. It is arranged with a smooth Italian touchand spotless clean. The staff from Trullidea work perfect as well. They will tell you everything what you need to know about the village and all the places worth visit. Breakfast was served in a nearby caffe and consisted of buffalla cheese, prosciuto, pan and coffee - everything superfresh and supertasty! I recommend Trulliidea and their lovely houses for a comfortable and pleasant stay in Alberobello!

It was lovely to stay in Trulli in a quiet street, however we had paid a fairly big supplement to our tour company so I was expecting something a bit more luxurious than what we got. Some of the furnishings were very basic. The bathroom was very modern and nice and the standard of cleaning was excellent. The bed was comfortable. What let it down was breakfast taken in a nearby cafe. Having paid £300-£400 for a room for two nights I would expect something more than a hostel breakfast….we got one small cappuccino, the end of a baguette with some cheese and meat and a croissant with no butter/jams. It felt as though breakfast was being provided as cheaply as possible. There were tea and coffee facilities in the room…some milk would have been nice too.

I absolutely loved my stay here. I had room 34 which was large, had its own private garden and patio as well as a bed upstairs and downstairs. It was tucked away at the end of a street so was lovely and quiet. The bed was really comfortable. Initially I thought it was a bit away from the main area but nothing is far from anywhere in Alberobello. I was part of a group and we had our luggage delivered to our rooms which was excellent. I opted to have the breakfast at the local cafe (part of the deal) which worked really well.

We arrived to start our cycling holiday. The taxi dropped us off at the start of the pedestrian zone and we then carried our luggage through to reception and then up a steep and stepped path to our Trulli. This must have been about 400 mtrs in total. There was no porter or any kind of vehicle to get us there or back the next morning. The final section of the path was literally a building site and the builders helped carry our luggage through that bit the next morning or we would have waded through wet cement. We had breakfast delivered, it was hot and tasty and much the best option, the alternative was apparently chaotic. Bed was comfortable, room was cool and dark. Avoid the rip-off cafes in the pedestrian zone.

My husband and I visited Alberobello the very first few days of July and had the loveliest time staying with Trullidea for 3 nights. We booked room “TRISTIDDE 41” which featured a private outdoor space to relax in and could not have been happier. Trullidea has a bunch of “spread out” trulli so it is not a typical hotel/accommodation with a main reception and all rooms in one “building” This is very clear on the website, but thought I should emphasize this anyhow. This makes for a very unique, intimate experience — as if you are living in the town! The location of this accommodation is prime since the reception office is located on one of the main streets within the Rione Monti district and so are their Trulli. Our trullo was located in a quieter part of the town (as described on the website) and this was wonderful because we wanted to be close to everything but prefer quiet & private accommodation. This allowed us to get the best of both! Just walk one minute and you’re in all the action! The trullo itself was very comfortable with different places to sit and relax and we appreciated that breakfast could be sent directly to the room every morning. No issues with staying cool even in the heat of the summer since the architecture of a trullo makes it cool inside by default but the AC functioned perfectly as well. Staff were very kind and we were given great restaurant recommendations and even a great recommendation for a local tour guide. Most people only take a day trip to Alberobello but you only get to “trulli” experience this place by staying at least an extra day and do not pass the opportunity to stay in a trullo like this one!

Having cycled about 60km, and the latter part in the rain, we turned up soaked and dripping. The receptionist was on the phone, so we stood for a good 5 mins or so waiting for her to finish her call. We were wet through and asked if there was somewhere we could dry our clothes. She hesitated outside a room beside reception where we could clearly hear a tumble dryer, but she then said that there wasn't anywhere to dry them (we were literally dripping). Our room was supposed to be 'superior', but it was frankly depressing and dingy. We could appreciate that the nature of a trullo is to have little or no windows/ light but the furnishings in the room were outdated and very basic. It cost an extra 10 euros to use the hob! The hot water ran out after my friend had her shower, so I was left to have a cold one. Not great, especially after a day cycling in the rain. Cereals were provided in the room, yet no milk. There was a kettle, (a welcome addition, as not all hotels in Italy have them) and teabags etc., but without any milk we had to make do with black tea. On the upside the beds were comfortable and the rooms clean. Breakfast was provided in a nearby cafe and was rather chaotic as there were limited seats and tables and a lot of guests being catered for. Not the nicest of breakfasts. Would not rate this hotel as 4* and dread to think what a standard room would have been like!

Our stay at Trullidea totally lived up to our expectations and more. The reception is very conveniently located just off the main road. We were greeted enthusiastically by a really lovely receptionist who was so helpful and took us the short walk to our Trulli, number 21. It was absolutely beautiful with a large very comfortable bed, perfect sized dining table, well equipped kitchen, lovely bathroom (wish I'd read their information about hot water --my fault entirely!) and cute niche with comfy settee. There were so many small, considerate and decorative details that enhanced the whole experience. Breakfast was at a small cafe, perfect for us as it was quite light. We would definitely stay at Trullidea again and I would request number 21.

I say something banal; sleeping in a trullo in Alberobello is like living in a fairytale place. Of course, a trullo, at least the one we had, is a trullo, that is, it has limited spaces, relative comforts, but if the place is well kept, clean, you forget the rest. If you add to this the extreme kindness, helpfulness and professionalism of the staff, you really feel at home. I can only suggest a few possible improvements: if the walls allow it, it wouldn't be bad to place a few coat hangers or a few more shelves both in the bathroom and in the room, precisely because space is limited and it is not easy to arrange things; and, perhaps, at least in the trullo where we were staying, a double curtain on the window of the door would be useful: a light one to let in the light, a thicker one for privacy.

We stayed here in January 2 adults and 2 children. It was an unforgettable experience staying in the Trullidea to be redone. Impeccable cleaning and super heated, equipped with towels and soaps. The fridge with many drinks is in the kitchen, coffee and other hot drinks that can be prepared in the room, and the breakfast with a choice of sweet and savory or both ... plentiful and served in the room, excellent! The friendly staff is always available for any request. 4 steps from restaurants and shops, nice to visit on foot and the parking is a few steps from the trulli. Thanks for everything 🥰.

Upon our arrival in Alberobello we went to the reception, we were welcomed by Mrs. Francesca with courtesy and friendliness, then accompanied to a fantastic, clean and well furnished trullo. We were only there for one night but everything went wonderfully, the Our children were very happy to stay in a trullo that they defined as "magical". Excellent and well-stocked breakfast served in the room...in short, everything was perfect!
