The hotel is ok, the room number/blocks designation is a bit confusing though… It’s not in a bad spot for the new *****, and is flanked by plenty of restaurants etc… Big plus is the air con, pool area is just ok for how many rooms they have, no where near enough places to sit

Basic but clean apartment kitchen great with washing machine. Sofa bed uncomfortable and stained bedding was fresh and coveted it well. Friendly reception staff. Clean pool although to cold to enjoy at this time of year. Walking distance to shops bars and restaurants

we have just come back after a weeks at Smy Santa Eulalla Algarve and I honestly have no idea why people have down graded the hotel. Even prior to coming I asked if we could have lower floor rooms due to mobility issues and this was arranged without any problems at all. On arrival Flavia could not have been more helpful so pleasant and nothing was a bother to her trying to get the 4 rooms together. Bonus having the washing machine so we did all our washing prior to leaving the resort. I requested blankets and in fact received two lots. Ants in the room but no real concerns. No problem getting the deposits back. We have already advised family and friends to book the hotel in the future. I will certainly go back.

Just arrived back from a 4 night stay with friends (group of 4). The reviews made me feel a little apprehensive but honestly i needn't of worried. The hotel is clean, well looked after and safe. People will honestly complain about anything and everything these days! Our check in was smooth and easy and so was check out and no issues with retrieving the deposit back. We had 2 appointments and they were both well equipped with everything we needed. Hotel is in a good location, close to restaurants, bars and shops. 10 mins taxi to old town and a 10-15mins walk to the *****. Reception staff were friendly, but one in particular had a special place in our hearts. FLAVIA was absolutely wonderful, there was nothing too much trouble for her:) we had an absolutely amazing holiday. Hopefully we will return to Albufeira again one day and I would 100% stay at this hotel again!

Staff were polite and friendly. Room was clean on arrival however, It all went down hill after that. Room was not cleaned for the entire 7days. You have to request toilet rolls, clean towels, hangers, irons and clean bed linen from reception. You have to empty your own bins so rubbish bags are left outside causing a terrible stench. Ants infestation with trails in every room in the apartment. I guess for short periods like a few days you will be comfortable but for longer stays I would recommend looking for somewhere else.
