We are glad that we booked this hotel. The beach view was breathtaking and remarkable. Not to mention its excellent location where the old town cobbled street is just right in front of the hotel. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast where they offered great selections and indeed one of the best breakfasts we've tried in our Portugal trip. Hotel staff were mostly friendly, especially those in the restaurant, except for the housekeeping staff who refused to give us extra drinking water on the next morning even before we checked out.

I has been quite a few years since we went to Albufeira and as my husband said - its us that has changed not the place. We found it very lively with a lot of youngsters enjoying Hen nights and watching the Euro Football, although they could watch it -you could not listen to the commentary as the music was too loud. Great for youngsters - Only eat at the Hotel so cannot really say that there was one place that stood out. Like Portugal we are going to another area next year that is more for us poor Old people - which I believe there are quite a few - looking for to 2025

We arrived home last night from Sol e Mar, what an amazing hotel right on the beach but also in the town. Waking up to that view was amazing. Staff were so friendly and helpful, breakfast was great, something for everyone. Hotel was spotlessly clean, cleaners were so lovely too. Our room was really spacious, loads of space for clothes and quite large bathroom. I don't usually leave reviews but felt I had to just to say to anyone who is thinking of visiting this hotel, don't hesitate you won't be disappointed. I will 100% be returning to the Sol e Mar and the wonderful Portugese people. Thank you Sol e Mar for a wonderful holiday ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sol e mar hotel as to be the best hotel in Albufeira fantastic service from reception to bar&restaurant on 5 floor and the terrace restaurant &icecream parlour beach service including the sun lounge the maids done a fantastic job every day We can only say thank you for a fantastic 10 days stay everyone was very professional that’s why I rated 5 stars ++ We used this hotel many times because Is on the beach and wife not very mobile so wee use the lifts to the bottom of hotel and walk through the tunnel to go to the centre of Albufeira old town Jamie &maureen

Our second stay here at this hotel. It was just as good as the first, excellent breakfasts which we had included. Rooms are spacious and have the most amazing view over the beach. We'll be back here again

We stayed and chose the half board. BIG mistake!!! The dinner was like airplane food. Very tasteless , cafeteria atmosphere , desserts are horrible . Buffet style . Breakfast was much better. Rooms are very nice. Piano player was good but bar very empty and uninviting.

Parking on the entire area is completely impractical, but that's not the fault of anyone business...just worth mentioning so anyone visiting knows what to expect.
Staff was amazing, the view from the lobby and room was fantastic, and there were tons of options for food and shopping around.
