Fantastic ten stars super attentive staff I was with 3 children and they managed to provide an excellent location for the apartment. I strongly recommend. To be repeated next year without a doubt. Congratulations are all.

Me my partner and 2 year old child have stayed here on 6 occasions in the past 15 month's each stay lasting between 1 and 2 weeks. We have stayed in the inatel Praia beach hotel rather than the other sister hotel up the hill. We have never had a bad experience with the hotel room nor with the staff. The breakfast caters to all be it vegetarians meat eaters or children and is quite tasty. The beach is amazing amd the cafe downstairs serves great burgers pizzas salads with prices not going above €7 per meal and large pints of local beers 500ml for €2.50 which is a bonus. The 1 thing I would like to advice people on who may be getting an early flight in or late flight home is check in is 4pm and checkout is 12pm so be mindful. But the hotel does provide a luggage room to leave all belongings in while you kill time. Overall an absolutely amazing place which is extremely child friendly and safe and I would recomend spending that little bit extra to get yourself a sea view or a terrace you won't be disappointed.

Paladin is a great hotel for anyone who is self-catering but do not make the mistake I made and book half board it does not no how to cater in any way have been to lots of hotels half board and this is worst they have no idea the hotel is well placed to get the beach the ***** and old town taxis about 3 50 like the hotel room was nice could do with a walk in shower the staff were lovely two pool's lots of sun beds cannot fault it for self-catering but please do not book it for half board

We stayed in an apartment with a super king bed which was so comfy and amazing. The pool loungers were never full, maybe it was the time of the year but they had umbrellas for every 2 loungers and a table which was so helpful. The front desk ordered us taxis when needed which was ideal. There was a huge supermarket less than a 5 minute walk which was so handy and only a 5 minute taxi to both new or old town. definitely will be back next year.

The hotel is big and has several attractions, from indoor and outdoor pools and animation, gym, playground, all very good. Positive points - impeccable cleanliness, friendliness of staff, hot water, small appliances that were old but worked perfectly, cable TV with several channels. Negative points- the furniture is old, the mattresses are uncomfortable, at the reception I was attended by an inexperienced person and was being charged twice the value of the extra bed, very weak internet, we never managed to get a signal during our stay. A lot to improve for a good comfort of the guests.

When me and my twin brother were staying in Albufeira we stayed in the Luna Hotel Da Oura on R.de Dunfermline.This hotel is only a short walk away from the main ***** were there are many pubs/bars and restaurants and a fifteen minute walk to Albufeira's old town. The hotel has a nice reception area and a superb outside swimming pool and there's an indoor pool.The room we had (336) was clean and spacious (a little dated) but very well presented.The bed's were brilliant and the rooms cleaned everyday.The breakfast was varied and filling and the staff were 1st rate. A superb hotel in a superb area of this very lively resort and on our next visit to here we will stay in this fantastic hotel again.(This is my first review of the Luna Hotel Da Oura).

Overall the hotel is good but there are issues. We booked half board with Jet 2 and on check in at the hotel we were told we could not used the Italian restaurant as half board, this is not what jet 2 website on hotel website state, we would not have booked this hotel otherwise. After discussions with jet 2 rep and management we did use Italian 3 times, I think in the future guests will be limited to the a la carte which has very limited menu. The pool area does not have enough sunbeds and parasols to go round plus most parasols are broken, dirty and sunbeds tired. Some people’s towels were left around pool area on the floor for days. There are not enough staff, bar staff have to clear and tidy pool area, it’s not their fault it is managements. The drinks are quite pricey in bar. The mattresses need a topper which I asked for otherwise they are lumpy and have plastic cover. The staff, especially Marco did a great job being so understaffed. There is not much to see in the area so it’s a case of staying in the hotel.

Good service and elegant and recent room. Little reproaches: no gross mirror in the bathroom, nor a available bathroom shirt. Correct breakfast. You are 10 minutes walk from the beach. If not, a vehicle is essential to move because the area is very quiet.

My 5 stars goes to the apartments not Vilamoura itself. One of the best 3 star hotels we have stayed in A credit to the cleaners from the apartments to the public areas all spotless. Free air con included Rooms large and spacious, hob and microwave but no oven. Pool is freezing even in July but lovely once your dunked in! Plenty of sun beds. Spar around 5 mins walk. Use Uber much cheaper than local taxis reception will tell you not to use but just ignore we had no issue in 10 days , Uber for up to 4 people around 5 euros we got dropped off at restaurant il trio and walked down the steps to the harbour . Turn right by the Irish bar use the steps to the right this will bring you to a lovely square of restaurants. Vilamoura itself looks the part but I would not return. Look up and you will see the massage parlours and the **** supermarket, up the side and back streets you will see the gentlemen’s clubs and massage parlours with an atm conveniently situated outside of each. Although this will cause you no problems I couldn’t help but notice the girls outside the massage parlour, drunken men leaving barely able to walk never mind anything else ! On the back and side streets the girls do stand in the doorway calling to the men as they walk past, this will cause you no bother as they are spaced out and it’s done very discreetly, I just find it contradicts what Vilamoura claims to be. It’s easy to just ignore it and not see it if you choose not to. I’m sure it is happens everywhere I’ve just never noticed it before. The marina is lovely, food expensive nice for a few drinks sat overlooking the marina. Would never return though.
