Albufeira Spa Hotels

The problem with this hotel is the management. The hotel is very big and the route sign is not clear. I was lucky to find the room after walking for 30 minutes. And the breakfast information is wrong, the parking information is wrong. These problems should be improved through management, and good results should be obtained.

All very well, the best thing is the location where it is located, it is located in the best place in Albufeira in the whole center around nightclubs, bars, a luxury, the area after breakfast very well, chocolate cakes, fruit, squeezed juice, bacon, the super mattress comfortable has air conditioning the room flat screen and balcony with views of all the mello of the party with soundproof glass a luxury I will return 😃😃

The hotel is good value for money with multiple food options. The food is good. The pool area is clean as is the rest of the hotel. In a good location to access the new town ***** as well as other places to eat. The old town is a 10 miniature drive away and taxis are reasonable. The staff are friendly and helpful.

had a nice break here , very good location and nice sea view on fourth floor, clean and nice staff, close to old town , pool lovely, the hotel was a little too quiet for my 12 year old son however as no day entertainment at all , no restaurant at evening either but we like eating out anyway, breakfast was good and staff are all helpful.

Breakfast buffet is super invincible and delicious! Especially fruit selection is especially great! The hotel will take the initiative to help parking is free. Hotel dinner is not recommended for single or buffet, the taste is very general, the ingredients are not too fresh. The sea view room has a beautiful sunrise view of the sea on the west side of the sunrise. Also saw the double rainbow! The on-site walking trail is also very convenient to walk to the sandy beach of Sao Rafeal. In the morning, it is empty and there is no one, just like enjoying a private beach. The only downside is that the spa is charged separately by number of people, and the free swimming pool also has to buy a swimming cap to enter.

Very satisfied about the all-in in the restaurant, our room, the service in reception and restaurant, very good animation during the day and in the evening. Especially we enjoyed the Opera Singers Dayana and Yadiel and Edgar, Ray and Dayana for the stretching in the morning and the animation at the swimming pool. All very kind people, staff and managers. We have been coming to this hotel fairly regularly for the last 20 years or so and have always loved it. This year we came for a week at the end of April and sadly it may be our last visit here. We felt the hotel was under siege. This time we felt that the usual high standards had been relaxed to allow a rabble of cocktail shaker juggling team members from a company / association called Flair take over the hotel for the week. They were all single young men and women who spent virtually all day in a sectioned off area near the pool learning and honing the skills of cocktail shaker juggling. This wasn't too bad in the daytime but the worst of it was in the mornings and evenings in the restaurant. Every night the whole dining experience was turned into a school cafeteria. The noise was intolerable. There were people picking up food and eating it while walking around the restaurant to see their mates, people on tables shouting conversations across to another table where inbetween the two there were respectable couples trying to enjoy their eveing meals. Hygiene was out of the window with high fives everytime they came across each other at the salad bar. Dress code was ignored and totally unenforced. I even saw one guy regularly in evening meal wearing flip-flops, beach shorts and sleeveless vest. It was disgusting. The behaviour was the same at breakfast. What happened to the restaurant staff in their waiter uniforms? I thought the restaurant manager was another holidaymaker - a young guy wearing faded jeans, casual shirt and trainers. One night we were kept awake by two of them partying on the balcony of the room above our's. At 2.30am I went to reception to complain and was told there should only be one person in that room. I told him that this is what happens when you allow groups of singles. To give him his due he did go to tell them and the noise did quieten. Perhaps this review only applies for the week we were there as we have had wonderful stays here over the years but I do feel standards have slipped and it seems a lot of the ”old school” staff have gone. If you do book this hotel just check that Flair aren't coming the same week. I suspect that they may come again around end of April - early May.

Hotel is lovely when you walk in the door but the rest of the hotel is dated. In need of a total revamp. Room is clean, and well equipped with a fridge, microwave, kettle and a dishwasher and all utensils but no condiments. A lot of noise from crowds of men banging on doors late at night and loud voices. There is a total of 5 plugs in the room, only one that worked and this was the one for the kettle the rest was hidden by furniture and likely the reason they are hidden they don’t work, so was a nightmare if you needed electric for any more than 1 plug. With a teenager it was torture. We were half board but food wasn’t great, selection was poor of 4 hot choices. Meatballs, chicken legs, pasta with sauce separate and a cod pie. Tried the restaurant twice and was the same options both times. So don’t waste your money on half board. Lots of lovely restaurants nearby. Highly recommend Clay oven which is Indian before you get to the ***** and Golden garden Chinese at the bottom of the *****. Both meals were fantastic. Pool has lots of sun loungers but pool was freezing, there is a shed with a vending machine as the bar. We tried the indoor pool which was pleasant as it is slightly warmer, but you are made to wear a shower cap that they supply costing 4 euros, don’t understand why as it isn’t waterproof and the hat supplied is far from flattering. ***** is 5 mins away and old town is a 25 min walk both pleasant walks. We made the best of our holiday and used the hotel as a base, I’ve been to Albuferia 6 times now and will come back but to a different hotel

Stayed here for a long weekend for a friend's stag do. Hotel was perfect - staff friendly, rooms spacious, clean and modern. Huge supermarket 100 meters from the hotel. There were several other stag and hens at the hotel at the same time and everyone was respectable and no noise heard at night time. Thank you Solaqua.

We came here 6 years ago and were looking forward to coming back. Unfortunately we were left disappointed. We checked in and the toilet in our room was broken. It kept running and consequently the tank refilling. We called reception who sent maintenance up quickly. They ”fixed” it but it still wasn't right and then wouldn't flush fully. We asked to swap rooms which they allowed us to do. As a whole the rooms haven't changed in 6 years which was the problem. They're now looking very dated and worn in need of maintenance. The shower was annoying as it constantly moved from right to left whilst on and at the same time down the shower pole. Meaning you had to hold it with one hand whilst trying to wash with the other. The shower screen also leaked so by the time you've managed to have a shower which took twice as long the floor was soaked. I found myself having to mop it up so that we didn't slip. The toilet seat was also broken on one side so it would slip off. All minor things which add up and could be easily fixed. You also have to pay for the safe which seems a bit crazy. We'd come from two previous hotels on the same trip and not once had to pay for the safe and they weren't 4 star hotels like this one. The pool was nice and pool towels are available. Breakfast was good, you have to select a time slot, I guess due to covid. Be warned you can't use the indoor pool unless you bring or buy a swimming hat. The spa area also looked nice. The air con in the rooms worked well and the beds were comfortable, it's frustrating as this hotel could be really nice but lots of little things let it down, all easily resolved with some TLC but all which make it not worth the money paid.
