Simple, modern, clean, affordable hotel.
Nice to have free unlimited coffee and juice.

Me and my partner booked the hotel for 6 nights. I had to lengthen our stay which was no problem with the hotel staff and they were very helpful and kind. Our room didn’t have the greatest view as it was directly across a Toyota dealership however we weren’t overly bothered about it. The room was very clean and so was the toilet, they provide a small fridge and a cupboard with a safe to place belongings. Our bed was very comfortable and served us well. They also offered free drinks downstairs in the hot drinks machines. They offended parking for cars and optional room cleaning service daily. The hotel is roughly 5 minutes driving away from the airport. Overall we had a great stay at the hotel ! The only problem we encountered which is the reason for 4 stars is that our toilet shower had an annoying problem with the temperature, it would go from warm to really cold and then proceed to really hot. Apart from that we had a great stay and we would recommend the hotel!

The hotel is very close to the airport. However they do not offer a shuttle. I took Uber there and back to airport which costed me about 5-7 euros. The room is not very big but comfy. The cleanliness can be improved a little bit. The breakfast selection is mostly sweet bakery. There are not many savory options. The staffs are friendly but they don’t speak much. Overall I would stay here again for an overnight layover just for the price.

It’s been a long time since I was last in a youth hostel, and as a now 45 year old man there is probably a reason for this. Arriving late on the Tuesday night with fond memories of dorm parties and tequila slammers, I was greeted by what I initially thought was captain Jack Sparrow, but who actually transpired to be a very friendly chap who helped us to navigate the intricacies of the main entrance. Door buzzed, suitcases lifted up the stairs and ugh who let mum and dad in looks absorbed, we were handed our keys by a lovely member of the team alongside vouchers for two free shots. Enthusiastically we were informed that the bar was open until 1am that night, although we had missed the pub crawl for the evening. I’m flattered I guess, however we decided to give the shots a miss in favour of a nice sleep. Yup, Father Time catches up with us all… We had a private double with a shared bathroom, and although very small it was comfortable enough. The pillow has perhaps seen better days, but the A/C was a life saver! Spending the days walking around town and doing some gentle exploring, the nights were largely spent for myself at least in the bar area downstairs. It’s a small but perfectly functional area, and in all honesty wasn’t the screaming mess of teenagers away from home for the first time that I had been expecting. At 3 euros a pint I was certainly very happy to sit and read whilst various cool young things did their thing in the background. Declining participation in the pub crawl for a second time, I was tempted with the tapas tasting but plans for the night changed due to friends arriving a day early and diner reservations being made. From a comfort point of view, our bathroom was shared between three double rooms I believe on the third floor, and this was never an issue. I attribute this to the fact that we were likely on very different schedules with us going out for the day and back for the night, as opposed to the perhaps more night based activities of our fellow residents. Bedroom like I said small, but hey, who cares, we weren’t here to sit in a room all day. The breakfast was absolutely fine, and for 5 euros a day you really cannot complain. All in all very happy with my stay, though peeking into an open dorm room one day my god I wouldn’t have survived the week unless you could take 25 years off me! Good job though overall Sant Jordi, and I’d certainly consider staying again - safe, friendly and somewhere I’m sure 20 year old me would have had a blast!

As it is said in the other comments, the rooms are very badly soundproofed... We were given a room on the street side, with a window that did not close properly, and as a result we slept very badly! We decided to leave after the first night, as there was only one room left that we did not want. After having had the MANAGER on the phone, we were told that we would be reimbursed (over 200€). Strangely my card was not working for the refund, ok, and that it was not possible in cash. We were then told that we would receive a transfer within 1 to 2 weeks... I have been waiting for 2 MONTHS! I have had no answer to my emails and on the phone, I'm clearly being pushed around. It's unacceptable, I work at the reception of a hotel in France, we refund our customers! ESPECIALLY when they promise us!!!!!! It's not only unprofessional but also dishonest.

The hostel's name says it all - this hostel is ideally located in the heart of Lisbon within walking distance of most of the major monuments the city has to offer. My girlfriend and I allocated 2 days to Lisbon and 1 to Sintra and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in one of the 8-bed dorms. The rooms and amenities of this hostel exceeded our expectations as our 1st foray into hostel traveling. The staff were extremely kind as well and were helpful in helping us plan an early morning (4 am) transport to the airport. There were a few small details we wish we could change. For one, we had a bit of bad luck in that one of our roommates was sick and spent most of the night coughing relentlessly keeping most members of our room awake. Additionally, despite meeting many friendly faces, the hostel did not feel as openly social as other hostels we stayed our throughout our two week Europe trip
Once a 17th century convent, Locke de Santa Joana has a rich, distinctive history. From preserved interior details to artifacts displayed in the cultural gallery, our Lisbon hotel unites the past and present. A playful style flows throughout 370 serviced apartments, many with their own kitchen.
Vibrant coworking spaces, meeting rooms, and plenty of restaurants and bars mean you won't need to leave. And the sunkissed courtyard and outdoor pool mean you won't want to either. Luxury, yet affordable. Homely, yet indulgent. Ideally located near Avenida de Liberdade.

I stayed at Locke in Edinburgh before, and I stayed there again when I saw a new one opened in Lisbon. This one is very big and just opened not long ago. The advantage is that it is really new, but the disadvantage is that the decoration smell is a bit obvious.
The room is OK, apartment design, with kitchen, refrigerator, sofa and TV. It is generally quite convenient for three days. It is also easy to get a taxi, and it is not far to Liberty Avenue.
There are restaurants and cafes downstairs, the products are OK, and the prices are medium. We did not order hotel breakfast. For breakfast, we went directly to the cafe in the lobby to buy a cup of coffee, a Portuguese tart and bread for breakfast for about 10 euros. We also patronized the restaurant downstairs in the evening. The products were OK, and the average cost per person was about 32 euros.

Honestly, thats the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. There is AMAZING breakfast (for free) and even pancakes with lil faces on them (and trust me that makes ur mood for the day). Also there are daily little activities- movies, sangria for 1€ and free refills, the big boss lady cooks soup and pasta for everyone almost every night. I stayed for 5 nights and it was worth it! Also everyone is super friendly and kind. There’s nothing bad i can say! Compared to other hostels in Lisbon its out of range!

We got a private room there cause we wanted our own space. Looked decent in the photos. When we arrived the room was quite dirty. Dirt on the walls, toothpaste around the sink and the towels we got had brown stains in it. We did not experience the privateness of our room because the bedroom door has a 2cm gap underneath it so all the stamps on the wooden floor and all the people coming and going (which was alot) along with the maintenace room next door felt like they were in our room. Alot of other smaller things like malfunction noises in the ventilation and very poor quality in the bed. “Breakfast included” was white bread, jam and coffee. BIGGEST PROBLEM is that the bathroom has alot of black mold in it. For example all around the shower and the shower glass and around the sink. After two nights we contacted the staff and told them about all these things listed above and we wanted to move out of that room and go somewhere else. So they told us that I had to send an email which would be forwarded to their supervisor, which I did. I checked upon them multiple times with calls, emails and direct conversation. Their supervisor, who was not there, would contact me which he never did. I am well aware this is not a 5 star accomodation but this is not ok in any accomodation that you pay for. I’ve been all around the world staying in allkinds of accomodations but this was my worst experience. Not only because of the room situation but because of the staffmembers who didnt even try to make things better by for example clean the room, offer us new towels offer us new bedroom. We paid 156€/night there. When the client points out things that are poor and could easily be fixed, just fix it and at least try to make them happy. WOT Lisbon Patio … Do better !

GGuest UserWe were on February 16, and the staff were nice but still little experienced.Excellent location with exceptional view of the terrace/bar.Good room, but with too large bed for the space, though comfortable. The room and the facilities were clean Small breakfast suffering for im hotel 4*.The buffet is poorly organized: - the compots are not identified - there are no bigger cakes to eat yoghurt with fruit - the fruit is cut too thick - they have no The fruit was not mature, and the bread (balls) was of a painful quality. There is no timely collection of dirt mouth on the table The ambient music is a real disaster. It's discotheque music (pum catapum), and it's always very high. We were in the bar to relax and read,we asked to download the sound, but yet it is too uncomfortable. The ambient music in a hotel must be relaxing, soft and with low sound. You don't go to a hotel to hear discotheque music!!! The price is high for quality.
RRamboS SI recently stayed at [Resort Name] and had an amazing experience. The location is fantastic, close to fine restaurants and outlets, with breathtaking sunrise and sunset views by the riverside. The crew's kindness and 24/7 availability made our stay even more special. The rooms were super nice and clean, with daily cleaning services. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and highly recommend it!
GGuest UserIn ”The Adventure of Silver Blaze,” Sherlock Holmes comments on the curious incident of the dog that barked in the night. That was the main problem of our stay at this hotel. The hotel allowed two dogs to roam free in the gardens, on which our room backed, and the dogs barked loudly until at least 1 AM. When we complained, the dogs were locked up for the next two nights but were out again on our fourth night. The other problem we had was figuring out how to work the shower, which has both an overhead and a hand-held fixture. It was not clear how to get the overhead to work, and we managed to flood the bathroom when the handheld came on instead and shot water everywhere. We had to use all the towels, which are mostly so thin we had to use the pool towels as bath towels, to soak up the water. Otherwise, we were mostly pleased with our room, which was large and clean, with plenty of room to unpack for four nights. Some of the furniture was rather worn, but the room was still attractive, and it was sufficiently well lit that reading was not a problem. The knob and lock on the outer door were set so low you had to bend over to lock and unlock the door. You have to be careful about opening the door, as the area swarms with mosquitos, and as careful as we were, some got into the room. The hotel has a very nice breakfast buffet served in the former wine cellar, and there are many good restaurants close by. A nice place to stay, but bring ear plugs in case the dogs are loose.
