We had a lovely time at The Wentworth celebrating two birthdays and an engagement! The highlight was the food! Daily menu change and a good selection, something for everyone. We had a front sea facing room which really was spectacular, it made the holiday exta special . A real treat!

The place is a little like stepping back in time when service style were the order of the day. Very comfortable and highly recommended. The Food was top quality with a good choice to suit all tastes and was priced within what I think is the normal range

Excellent hotel, fabulous food & wonderful staff. Great location easy access to the beach and the town. Parking is across a little road. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated & very clean. This is a Quiet & peaceful gentile hotel. If you are looking for action this is not for you. The Shower room was a perfect size & there was an electronic modern shower which was easy to use & to have a great shower. Personally I would not recommend it for children. There isn’t a lift and the stairs are quite steep though there are a few ground floor rooms. The staff were incredibly attentive & friendly and they would go out of their way to assist with any dietary requirements or assist with any requests.

Really pleasant hotel, lovely staff and very clean. However had to knock one star off as the dinner offered on an evening was poor. If your a vegetarian I don’t recommend staying for the evening meal. On the menu is a good choice but that’s as far as it goes. 3 giant blue cheese croquettes as a main with no sides of salad or vegetable’s. Stuffed pepper, tasteless mush again no sides. Hummus again bland and tasteless, Thai curry also hard vegetables floating in a soup. Made without love. I would definitely stay again at the hotel but go elsewhere for an evening meal. The breakfast was a triumph! . The decor is beautiful in the communal areas. Bedrooms could do with a slight update but nevertheless an enjoyable stay.

Whilst the hotel has been decorated, there is an unsavoury smell in reception. The bedrooms are clean, but require updating. The supplied hairdryer, an item fixed to the bathroom wall, last seen on Fawlty Towers. No USB ports anywhere in the room. No electrical sockets near the bedside tables. No small fridge for cold items. Long life UHT milk in the bedroom. The tariff for the room, warrants a room in the 21st Century, not 1980s.

We stayed one night in a Double Inland Room on a Bed & Breakfast basis at a cost of £283.00 which seemed quite expensive but it was a Friday night in high season at a popular (and upmarket) seaside resort. We also used the free off-street parking just across the road. Accommodation: The room contained a king sized bed, 2 small chairs, a dressing table and wardrobe. It was not air conditioned and was only single-glazed: we slept reasonably well and were not troubled by noise however. It was adequate rather than luxurious. The small ensuite contained a most impressive shower, controlled entirely electronically by a wall-mounted remote. It started up immediately at an indicated and comfortable 39C and turned itself off after about 4 minutes - but restarted on demand. Very impressive! Lunch: We had booked lunch at 1.30pm but owing to unexpectedly heavy traffic, did not arrive until 2.15. Although we had phoned to say we’d be late, we had resigned ourselves to going hungry as service was advertised as ending at 2pm but we were shown straight into the restaurant where we were served a delicious lunch. The manager also made a point of welcoming us in person having received our phone calls regarding the delay. Very impressive again! Overall: A very pleasant hotel with plenty of space in terms of restaurant and sitting areas . We received excellent service throughout. We would be happy to return for a longer stay.

First time in Aldeburgh, which for unfamiliar Travellers is a few miles South of Southwold and Lowestoft. Old world charm personified in a well built property. To the point…….Reasonable size bedroom with sea view(pebble beach). TV is woefully small and needs an upgrade to 50 inch. Older customers cannot see it. Food is well cooked with good ingredients albeit not generous portions. The one area that slipped through our net was no lift. Witnessed several folks struggling to get up and down. Apart from that it’s a nice feel good town and hotel.
