We stayed 4 nights and the only two positive notes of the hotel are the central and very convenient location and the very courteous staff. From the photos I had very high expectations which were completely disappointed. We were assigned a room with a window that overlooked an extra wall covered by scaffolding which made it very dark. The furnishings leave much to be desired as they are dated and an unpleasant smell inside the room. On the second day we used the room cleaning service and the bubble bath was not replaced. For what we paid I expected a lot more considering that breakfast was not included in the price either.

L'Hotel nel complesso non ha i servizi per il numero di stelle dichiarato: non ha il servizio ristorante, non ha la piscina, non ha la palestra, non ha i parcheggi, c'è il televisore ma nessun abbonamento o contenuto (abbastanza inutile), ha l'aria condizionata ma la controllano loro con un sistema centralizzato e automatico secondo le temperature che stabiliscono (per me troppo fredda) e ho dovuto soffrire il caldo perché anziché farmi regolare il condizionatore me l'hanno staccato per tutta la permanenza. Ha il servizio portineria ma di notte il proprietario ti fa pesare se lo disturbi. La struttura è fatiscente; il bagno perdeva dalla doccia, il lavello era tappato, dal gabinetto usciva un odore di fogna e l'acqua calda a volte non c'era. La camera matrimoniale è piccola e l'illuminazione sgradevole. Il telefono in camera non prende e il Wifi è debole. Per tutta la mia lunga permanenza il proprietario è stato sempre scortese. La colazione è cara e con prodotti molto scadenti, poca scelta e poca quantità. Ogni volta che è mancato qualcosa, ad esempio è capitato che dopo le pulizie mancassero gli asciugamani sostitutivi e rimanevo senza, la risposta quando chiamavo dal telefono interno era ”scendi a prenderli”. Di buono ha esclusivamente la posizione che è abbastanza centrale e vicino al lungomare. Esperienza che non ripeterei se non obbligata.

We have been in Alghero so many times and in so many facilities and I can finally say I have found our place!! That's a good idea of check-in in autonomy, it doesn't bound you with the time of arrival. The room was perfect with the hydromassage that enriched it even more. Maximum cleaning and attention to the detail. Well heated. Large, bright. With a price suitable for the offer. The gentle staff, the cleaning woman with a cat's slippered step had already started cleaning the rooms and we didn't realize anything (other times we were woken badly by angerous noises of furniture and moved beds). Breakfast at the bar next to the hotel with pleasant and available staff.

A wonderful hotel with a beautiful sea view, access to the beach (best if you bring swimming shoes) & promenade, a very nice courtyard with flowers and a seating area to enjoy your mornings/evenings. A short walk to the old town and the most important sites. The restaurant is serving very delicious breakfast and dinner every day! All the staff are so attentive and did their u**ost to make our stay exceptional and unforgettable! The reception, restaurant and housekeeping teams all make you feel at home like family! Very good and clean hotel with good breakfast and nice views. Outstanding staff, especially Marco was very helpful. The location is perfect to visit the old town of the city but still very easy to reach by car. 15 minutes to the airport but no plane noises.

We had such a great time here, awesome pool, large garden, olive trees. Well maintained. Staff super-friendly, restaurant has great food and is visited by locals regularly. Location is perfect, just north of Alghero, and next to the Airport (but no noise). This will be a recurring booking goong forward. Also enjoyed the wildlife, alpine swifts diving in to drink from the pool, large butterflies.

GGuest UserWell-managed guest house structure, renovated, fragrant and corresponding to the description. Our small but very nice room, modern, bright, new, with a large terrace set up, which guarantees privacy and comfort, a drying rack, mini-bar, air conditioning and wifi, all in good working order. Perfect location: - optimal for going for a walk after a day at the beach, a few steps from the historic center of Alghero, as well as from the seafront; - very convenient due to the proximity of the urban and extra-urban bus stop for the airport and the beaches (terminus in front of the villa). This avoids the risk of not being able to get on the buses, which usually arrive packed to the next stops!; - Coop supermarket in the immediate vicinity, as well as fruit and vegetable shops, various accessories and in via XX Settembre the best pastry shop in Alghero, Pasticceria Tarragona, where you can have a divine breakfast! Owners Claudia and Franco serious, kind, always ready to answer calls and extremely available to provide directions, as well as a mat / umbrella for the sea. Recommended!

GGuest UserThis is a corporate feeling hotel that caters to groups and conferences. The rooms are okay and functional but a few problems cause me to recommend other stays. Most importantly, the attitude of the restaurant staff is nasty. They wouldn’t let me in a few minutes ahead of opening when I just wanted to see the sunrise view from the restaurant terrace. Then, they were upset that my sister in law asked for a coffee after she had tea. Most disappointing, they wouldn’t prepare a simple omelette for my daughter who is Crohn’s and avoiding oil and butter. The server said we should have scrambled eggs or a fried egg from the buffet (which was really basic). I can’t recall the last time I stayed at a high star hotel that wouldn’t make an omelette. But the view from the terrace is wonderful. The 2 elevators are insufficient for this hotel so prepare to wait several minutes for your ride but this is the least of my issues. A smile and pleasant service at the breakfast terrace would’ve made all else much better at the hotel. Oh… the location is excellent.

The staff are so wonderful always smiling and helpful Adriana In the Cala Bistrot is the most helpful beautiful person looking after us so well. The reception staff are so helpful and kind the staff at breakfast are incredible so so hardworking. The breakfast is located downstairs in a beautiful light banquet room, the choice is incredible from a barista making fresh coffee to someone cooking made to order eggs to the juicing machine to make your own fresh juice the choice is amazing and varied with something for everyone. The pool is meticulously clean and tended to and has lots of very comfortable loungers. There is a gorgeous private beach also which is stunning and large beach towels are provided for €3 if needed. The rooms are perfect very clean beautiful balcony’s with comfy chairs and the bathroom is very well equipped with hairdryer and toiletries provided. So far 10/10 for this wonderful hotel. The walk to the old town is 15 minutes down hill with panoramic views so so beautiful and a complementary shuttle bus is provided if you don’t fancy walking up or down! We are on honeymoon and enjoying every second.

GGuest UserMy husband & I spent 2 weeks at this hotel on bed & breakfast basis. Here is what we think. Hope you find it useful PROS - 2 lovely pools plenty of beds Nice beach, again, plenty of beds/brollies. We preferred to use the grassy area behind the beach which also has plenty of beds etc. Shallow water at beach - so good for kids Gardens are beautiful and well maintained. Location is nice ( see cons re flight path! ) and the views on a sunny day are gorgeous. Our room was adequate and serviced well. Lots of storage space. Although the website says they don't turn on Aircon until end June, they do turn it on if asked. They also provided us with a kettle in our room when asked, though tea/coffee/milk had to be bought at the local shop. Best WiFi we have ever experienced in a hotel anywhere. Strong in the garden/pool area too. Pool/beach staff attentive. All bar staff were good. A special mention for the only member of the restaurant staff who made a positive difference to our breakfast experience - Rafaella, thankyou. You are a star. Breakfast was ok on the whole but would benefit from an omelette station in order to have something hot to eat ( their 'hot' selection is lukewarm at best and by the time you get it to your table, it's cold. CONS - The sunbeds are very hard and have the choice of just one angle .. or flat.! We know these beds can come with a cushion as they are the same as the ones at Bombarde beach and they had cushions! I used my flight neck pillow a lot You are on the direct flight path for Alghero airport and the local military training airport which are less than 4 miles away so that should tell you how low they come over the hotel. Our bed in our room was so hard ( I appreciate that this may be a pro for some ) We asked for mattress toppers and these were provided which helped a little. The shower cubicle was very small and the water pressure is dismal. The drain in there was covered by a loose tile, and trying to shower whilst avoiding this obstacle required some skill. When it rained the roof above our room was extremely noisy. All in all I think we paid a lot of money for what we got. 4 star in Italy may be different to elsewhere maybe?

For the seasonal traveler, one will not find much wrong but for the avid luxury, yet cost-conscious traveler, and Italy aficionado..… there is room for improvement. The hotel has clean decent rooms but suffers from its remote location. You will be happy if you like a quiet remote location in the middle of a beautiful nature with nothing 15mn away. It is 1:45mn away from Olbi airport and 45mn away from Algheri airport. No shops, no stores, not much entertainment on the premises (jet ski, games, kids club, diverse restaurant menus and bar...) and if you enquire about the surroundings, you may not get much information. The expensive room rates do not justify the too basic room cosmetic amenities (is there no young regional person making natural local cosmetics the hotel could promote so customers could discover and maybe sponsor?), the bathroom toilet bin lid was malfunctioning and never replaced, the shower head orientation made it impossible not to soak the entire bathroom shelves and floor not matter where it was positioned, the hotel lacked concierge services and the reception staff was inexperienced in terms of checkin (unable to multitask and asking several times the same questions to clients during a single consult which would take at least 10 mn per customer for basic requests like the checkin, a taxi reservation, a restaurant or beach recommandation… ( this is unacceptable during daytime or high traffic times). The staff (3 people at the desk) had extremely limited knowledge of local restaurants, beach local activities, shuttle and bus routes and schedules… the gift shop is very limited considering how remote the place is. And again forget local souvenirs…

GGuest UserWe were impressed by the cleanliness of the rooms and the very helpful and friendly staff. This hotel is right on the seafront opposite a lovely beach of white sand. It takes 20 minutes to walk to the old town along a lovely wide promenade. The hotel rooms have basic furniture, air conditioning, quite firm beds, fridge, safe and TV. We were on the 4th floor with lovely views of the sea from the balcony. The bathroom had a shower, toilet. Sink and bidet. Also a hairdryer and a bottle of shower shampoo and a small bar of soap. Breakfast was the usual offering of eggs, bacon, cheese, ham, cereal, fruit, yogurt etc and a selection of cakes. There are two machines for hot drinks but the staff will make fresh hot drinks if asked. There is a nice swimming pool, not heated. The restaurant is also open to the public for lunch and evening meals. We enjoyed our stay.
