Hotel itself is very old, but service is great and location is nice. Basic hotel for a short-term stay.

Very good experience. Convenient transportation, hotel right by the sea. The price is also affordable/non-summer.

Clean hotel, everything within reach, beachside

Very kind staff, always smiling and courteous. The rooms were really clean and comfortable with a balcony overlooking the sea. The location is perfect. A stone's throw from the historic center.

Hotel in a good location ( 15 minutes walk to the Old Town), in front of the beach, with a good restaurant, friendly and helpful staff, but with facilities that need updating.

El hotel queda a unos 20 minutos andando del centro. La playa de enfrente no es muy bonita pero el hotel vomo pynto base para visitar la zona no está mal. Es algo antiguo y las 4 estrellas no son las mismas que en España. Hay que imagibar que vas a un 3 de playa. Muy atentos.

We booked a quadruple room which had a fabulous balcony looking out to sea. The balcony furniture left a lot to be desired. The pool was lovely but small with very few sunbeds. There is no rooftop sun area. A clean hotel, lovely restaurant but more three than four star.

The hotel Soleado is a little gem, not fancy or plush but very very pleasant. The staff are very pleasant and helpful! The location is ideal, on a sandy beach with a promenade. I'd love to see the seaweed removed though.... It's pushed into mounds ready for removal, hopefully!The old town is in easy walking range. It's charming cobbled narrow streets with eateries in every nook and cranny. The ramparts are stunning for a stroll, meal or coffee. The yellow tourist bus gives a good first look, well worth hopping on. Local buses nearby towns are available near the port also for a day out. We found renting an e-bike suited us ideally. There's a train station 100 metres behind the hotel.. Walkable even with a bag. We found grabbed a train to Sassari and onwards to Cagliari!

We were impressed by the cleanliness of the rooms and the very helpful and friendly staff. This hotel is right on the seafront opposite a lovely beach of white sand. It takes 20 minutes to walk to the old town along a lovely wide promenade. The hotel rooms have basic furniture, air conditioning, quite firm beds, fridge, safe and TV. We were on the 4th floor with lovely views of the sea from the balcony. The bathroom had a shower, toilet. Sink and bidet. Also a hairdryer and a bottle of shower shampoo and a small bar of soap. Breakfast was the usual offering of eggs, bacon, cheese, ham, cereal, fruit, yogurt etc and a selection of cakes. There are two machines for hot drinks but the staff will make fresh hot drinks if asked. There is a nice swimming pool, not heated. The restaurant is also open to the public for lunch and evening meals. We enjoyed our stay.

My first time in Alghero was in the late 90s and for over 15 or so I travelled every September with my husband. We rented the same appointment across the road from Rafel Restaurant and bar. Last year 2022 I travelled back alone for the 1st time since my husband died . I picked Hotel Soleado as it was in the same area I had stayed with my husband and across the road from the beach so it was familiar to me. As a solo traveler I decided a hotel was safe than apartment. On arrival I was met with a warm welcome . My room was spotless and had great character and the views from the balcony amazing. Clean towels every day if you wished .Loredana the lady who looked after my room was so pleasant and helpful nothing was a problem to her. The hotel has a buffet breakfast with fresh juices, fresh fruits, , meats, cheeses and delicious pastries. The coffee machine has so many choices. Tiziana and the girls every morning were so pleasant always had a smile for everyone. The staff on reception during my stay Angela ,Isabella Francesco, Antonella, Caria were so helpful and mindful I was making a solo trip . The restaurant in the hotel is a hidden gem. Booking for lunch or dinner is a must as the locals eat here , which is always a good sign. The pasta , fish and everything is amazing 5 Star . Gianni who runs the restaurant has the best fish . The John Dory or San Pietro in Italian definitely one to try. The wine list is excellent as you would expect from a restaurant or this quality. A liquor called Mirto which is a digestive is given after dinner and it is delicious. Again all the staff here are friendly and welcoming. The hotel is about 15 mins walk to the town and has great shops and lots to see. Comfortable shoes as the streets are cobbled. As someone who is not great with to much sun I found late September was perfect or even October I believe is pleasant. I could go on forever talking about Alghero . I can’t wait to return this year in October and stay in the Soleado . Ryanair fly direct from Dublin to Alghero with last flights in October.

A very simple hotel. Only location is good! Hotel rooms are old and terrible plastic in bathroom. Even water cups are plastic. I think last renovation is from 70s. We had biggest room with panoramic balcony. View to the sea and city is quite nice. I have looking photos about breakfast. I didnt see nothing like this! Very very simple and poor choice in reality. To the old town exactly 1 km.

Great hotel, great location, great staff, great food and one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Yes it’s dated but compared to the rest of Alghero it’s brand new! Charming hotel can’t wait to go back.

The location was amazing, right on the seafront, with amazing views and only a 5/10 minute walk to the town. The staff was really nice, and the breakfast options were really good, especially for coeliacs. The only complaint would be that the room was tiny, and a bit claustrophic, and you could hear anyone who walked past the room. Overall it was a great stay and I would definitely go back and stay here. Thanks for a great stay.
