The hotel was very close to beach and restaurants. We staid in the room with sea view but it was not the better choice even we paid 20 euros more. It was very noise in the room because of very busy road in front of the hotel.

Such a horrible place to be in . Small rooms so so so tiny you will feel you are in some hole. Housekeeping doesn’t clean it properly . Extremely Lazy staff . Coming to food - as basic as breads and eggs aren’t available if you go for breakfast's after 9am . No one is standing at the breakfast counter to listen to you , you cannot go and complain. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND TO ANYONE

Galaxy hotel is a good place to stay, if you want a mid-way experience. First of all, the prices are not high, so your expectations also shouldn't be :) Located 30 minutes away from downtown of Athens, with a great tram and bus connections, this place is conveniently located for also the big city experience and the beach experience. Rooms are clean and equipt ok. However, the space is limited and if your room is looking at the beach (which looked so attractive when we were booking our stay) this is where the nightmare begins! Just in front of the hotel is a boulevard, which seems like a real high way! Although the rooms have a nice balcony, we never used it since the dust and the noise is so bad and very disturbing. Breakfast offer was ok, a simple continental breakfast with a limited, but nice selection of courses. However, the courses are the same every day. Although it is a ok place for a 3 star hotel, and we didn't expect too much of it for the price we paid, the boulevard experience has lower our impression much more.

Why on earth after booking a room six months ago would a hotel cancel a booking with only days before arrival!!!! Going to book!!! Don’t bother. Find a hotel that will keep to the agreement and not leave you in the lurch days before the stay very frustrating to say the least.

I didn't even go as with funny excuses they didn't reply to my email about the social tourism tickets in time even though I bothered them by phone in 25 days more than 10 times!! Finally when they replied they told me that they no longer have rooms for the dates I wanted !Simply terrible service and I'm really sorry to have to write such a negative review!

We met at the hotel for one night. Entering the room we had asked for a double bed and we were faced with 2 singles. After contacting the reception, we were changed to a room in which they had joined two singles and put a double sheet. (BUSY) . Entering the bathroom, there were impurities in the basin, it smelled bad. The sink counter was dirty and the bathroom phone was full of salt. The sheets smelled bad as did the towels. The balcony doors did not close well, so it was cold in the room. The a/c was not working, while when we called they told us that it was working normally. There was no window in the bathroom and the doors opened with difficulty and closed abruptly. And the best, leaving the hotel we had to carry our bags from the 4th floor to the ground floor by hand because the elevator was not working. The experience was bad, the only good thing was that it had a beautiful view! But in the face of all the but what to do? €75 lost! Hygiene is a part that needs attention especially for us women! I'm very sorry, more attention!
