Popular Almeria 4-star Hotels

Being located at the prime location, this hotel offers easy access to shopping, downtown, and nearby monuments nearby. Enjoyed my 1 week stay at AC Hotel Almeria, Rooms are bit smaller yet, no compromise on comfort level. I enjoyed had a walk around the corner every evening, because everything is just few mins walking distance. I personally loved the town Almeria exploring maximum by walk and reaching locals, this hotel took care of my stay comfortable. There are some rooms were have to reach over stairs, which I had struggled during check-in & check-out carrying a heavy baggage. Perhaps, the hotel staff can consider allot rooms based on customers carrying a heavy luggage, it’s bit challenging to carry them over stairs (only specific rooms on each floor). Rest everything else worth a 4* rating!

After spending 3 days in the local Government hospital my wife & I stayed here for 2 weeks before we were repatriated back to the UK. Excellent hotel in a lovely area with amazing staff who were very attentive professional & extremely helpful - the manager was very supportive. The hotel is situated just outside the city centre but only a short walk away. Very near the hospital & a large shopping mall. The food was very good especially the breakfasts with a variety of choices on offer. Very near to a host of good restaurants/tapas bars which serve excellent & great value for money food. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a city break at a most reasonable price.

I’ve stayed here for about a week on a business trip in Spain. The hotel is on Mediterranean avenue and close proximity to Mediterranean Commercial centre Mall. The Hotel staff is Very friendly Ms Patricia & Ms Loraine is very helpful for your questions and guidance about local visits. Breakfast provided by ah! was just wonderful and healthy. I didn’t feel at different continent during my visit. Didn’t had any challenges with food, local exploration. In terms of accessibility, You have bus stops at walkable distance and easily accessible to prime locations in Almeria. In total, I loved my time being at Almeria and Avenida hotel is just another reason behind it. Strongly recommended for Business visits and a very simple yet right choice if you’re planning along with family. Thanks to Hotel Avenida for a wonderful experience :) Hope to make a come back again 😎

Friendly and efficient check in. Nice modern hotel, rooms clean and spacious. Good location next to shopping centre and good restaurants and tapas bars within a few minutes walk, hotel bar very quiet , over all a nice experience with no complaints, staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a buffet with the usual selection of ham, salamis and cheese with bread and nice cakes. The hot cooked selection was adequate. A good hotel frequented by many business people.

I cannot understand the bad reviews. We had an excellent experience here. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The location is very good at the city centre and close to the attractions. We had chosen a spa package, which is highly recommendable and included chocolates and prosecco. The spa experience was amazing, which we have also reviewed separately in more detail. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. When we arrived early at 12, they let ut stay on the rooftop pool all day until our room was ready. Great customer service! And when I forgot my Spanish abanico at the hotel, they found it for me, and kept it for a week until I returned to pick it up. A special thank you for your help and honesty! Breakfast was good and the views were stunning from the rooftop to the Alcazaba. Very luxurious. They even opened the breakfast serving 15 minutes earlier than usual, so we had the chance to enjoy the breakfast and still catch our early morning bus. Just a perfect stay here. No puedo entender las malas críticas. Tuvimos una excelente experiencia aquí. La habitación estaba limpia y muy bien decorada. La ubicación es muy buena en el centro de la ciudad y cerca de las atracciones. Habíamos elegido un paquete de spa, que es muy recomendable e incluía chocolates y prosecco. La experiencia de hammam fue increíble, que también hemos analizado por separado con más detalle. El personal fue extremadamente amable y servicial. Cuando llegamos temprano a las 12, nos dejaron quedarnos en la piscina todo el día hasta que nuestra habitación estuvo lista. ¡Excelente servicio al cliente! Cuando olvidé mi abanico en el hotel, me lo buscaron y lo guardaron durante una semana hasta que volví a recogerlo. ¡Muchas gracias por su ayuda y honestidad! El desayuno era bueno con las vistas impresionantes de la Alcazaba. Muy lujo. Incluso abrieron el servicio de desayuno 15 minutos antes de lo habitual temprano por la mañana, y gracias a eso tuvimos la oportunidad de disfrutar del desayuno antes que nuestro autobús sale. Simplemente una estancia perfecta aquí.

We stayed at Hotel Nuevo Torreluz for 5 nights in September and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We stayed in a standard double room with breakfast included. Firstly, the location is fantastic if you are planning to explore the city on foot. It is located a 2-3 minute walk from one of the main street. There is a Carrefour Marketplace approx. 5 minute walk away. Key sites such as the cathedral, plaza de la constitution, civil war shelters and the casa del poeta are reachable within 5-10 minutes of walking. The tourist information centre is also nearby and is a helpful place to stop by at beginning of your visit to pick up a map. On arrival we were welcomed by the concierge who was friendly and helpful. The main room was basic but functional, there is a large wardrobe, table & chair, desk as well as a mini fridge and safe. There was no extra charge to use the safe which was a bonus. The bathroom was modern and clean. Overall, the room meet our needs well. Breakfast was continental, with guests serving themselves. There was a variety of options available from cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cakes to cold meats, bread and bacon, sausage & eggs. Hot drinks were available as well as fresh orange juice and water. We did not eat at the on-site restaurant (Taberna Nuevo Torreluz), instead we chose to eat out at various restaurants in the city. If you are looking for a good ice cream I'd recommend going to Alpino's, they had a great variety of flavours available and the scoop sizes were great. The beach was a 30 to 35 minute walk away, however, there is also a bus that leaves from the main street regularly. The beach is a mix of pebbles and sand. If travelling from the airport you can either get a bus and walk approx 10-15 minutes to hotel or get a 15 minute taxi. Overall, if you're looking for a good quality, clean and welcoming hotel in the centre of Almeria I would recommend staying here.

Location is amazing and the parking is also really safe and private. Apartments are trendy with modern contemporary feel. Ceilings are 2 meters (14 feet) tall and very Airey feel. Great to be able to use a washer dryer half way thru a road trip as it cuts down on baggage. Bar on the roof is trendy and chic. However - don’t agree with them sending the public guests through the hotel to exit - defeats the security aspect completely and it’s annoying to hear a bunch of drunks rolling through the hotel at closing time. Aside from that it’s highly recommended.

Being in the catering trade for the last 42 years, And having stayed in a lot of hotels in many parts of the world within many different groups, I know I can be a quite demanding customer, especially when it comes to my expectations. Even now I cannot get over the expression on my partner's face when we first saw our room, the delight on her face filled my heart with joy, since the only thing that matters to me is her happiness. The service that we received has been second to none and believe me it is not often that I am able to say that. Any queries that we had during our stay were answered and dealt with and always with a smile which means a lot these days. It would be wrong for me to try and single out any one member of the staff as all have been exceptional. The variety of the food that has been served means that every meal experience has been a delight with plenty of choice. I thought that the Barcelo Cairo would be the exception, but our experience here has proved that that is not the case And that it was just the norm that we could expect from your group. I know I have said it earlier but I really cannot praise the staff enough They are all a credit to your company. This experience has cemented our loyalty to your group for further vacations. Loved my time at this hotel. The location couldn't be more perfect for my needs. I loved swimming in the pool which never got that crowded and sometimes I was the only one so had it to myself. It was interesting watching the ferries in the port across the road from the room balcony. The beach wasn't far to walk maybe 10 minutes along the promenade and I had a great time jumping the waves. The little tourist train stop is nearby which takes you all around town and by the castle. The bridge attraction, park squares, art museum, restaurants and shops are all on the doorstep. The hotel staff are very friendly, helpful and efficient and helped me with some scanning. You can hire a kettle and iron for your stay. The buffet breakfast is nice and has all your usual items, you can have your eggs made to order. They also have snacks and icecreams you can have in the bar all day. I loved my room it was calm and peaceful on the 6th floor. I had the best sleep and didn't wake in the night , better than at home. The beds are comfortable. There is air con in the room so it was nice to come back to for a little siesta. The rooms are big and the beds. There is a big cupboard and a few drawers for your things. The bathroom was nice with a bath, shower and some useful toiletries. The hotel had a nice atmosphere and I am looking forward already to coming back next year !
