Carpet frying and worn in elevator, room needs deep clean and maintenance. Stains on walls and carpets, vents filthy, carpet in hallways stained. Literally the cheapest toilet paper, the facial tissue was softer than the toilet paper. Stain on couch cushion in room, stick on shampoo dispenser in shower is falling off shower wall, compartment to store extra roll of toilet paper was filthy inside. Blow dryer filter FULL of lint. Toilet flush handle sticks and toilet runs non stop unless you manually push the flusher handle up. Refrigerator in cabinet rattles on and off all night. Wooden cabinet that refrigerator sets inside of is chipped. Complimentary breakfast food is sufficient and all staff I encountered were very nice. Location is good. Just needs ALOT of TLC

I didn't realize Microtel meant micro small hotel.
Carpet was REALLY old and stained. The halways of the hotel smelt like yogurt. The batrooms and the bedding were clean. The breakfast was typical. Management needs to invest money updating hotel with cartpet and paint.

Pick another spot. There are so many. First of all the front desk staff was great. They were friendly and helpful. It looks like most of the rooms have been updated with nice bedding. The desk chair was dated and needed a paint/stain job badly. The beds were a little to firm however the worst thing was that the pillows were very hard. When I mentioned that a check-out the person said she hears that a lot! I suggested she somehow get that to the owner so they don't get reviews like this one. We did not partake of the breakfast room so can't say what it was like.

Television kept freezing up, toilet was in need of repair. Carpet was very dirty with stains. We stayed last year and it was great. Breakfast was excellent and also front staff was very pleasant. It is a great location. I feel it just needs a little more maintenance and TLC

The gentleman at check in was extremely nice and helpful, so no issue at all with check in. The issue is with the condition of the room. Huge stains on the floor, carpet is so dirty, bathroom fixtures not in good repair. The bed we chose to sleep in, of the two, must have been the bed of choice for everyone, as the mattress has a rather big dip in the middle, that hubby kept rolling into.

Clean and tidy but carpet stained and the only chair stained with something liquid (?). Room quite small.
Staff all very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good. Scrambled eggs, breakfast sausage, waffle and cereal options.

Athena could match the best concierge. She was most helpful in getting a billing error, caused by major booking app, resolved on the spot. It took several different calls over a 20 minute time pereiod but she perservered with the best attitude that I've ever observed at a hotel front desk and I've traveled around the world. Many thanks to Athena. We've stayed at this hotel several times over the years and the experience has always been positive. Breakfast is as good as other hotel chains.
