Super 8 by Wyndham Alturas

There really isn't a breakfast - cereal, coffee and toast. Clean, comfortable hotel. Centrally located in the town. Parking lot is too loud with tradesmen coming and going late at night and early in the morning with their beeping trucks. Helpful staff.

Room was clean and comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast area was well stocked and inviting.

Room was great, Rubio’s Mexican was really good. Short walk. Hotel had comfortable bed. Not sure about other rooms.

Comfortable room, clean and temperature was just right. Staff were courteous and helpful. Although the motel was booked, once I unplugged the buzzing refrigerator the room was comfortable and quiet. If you are ever in Alturas it's a good place to stay.

I stayed 3 nights in a very large room near the office. It was very convenient, warm, clean, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast was what I would have at home, cereal, fruit, yogurt, coffee, tea, hot chocolate. There were plenty of channels on the TV to choose from, a good size refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker - though I got coffee from the breakfast room.

The room was clean, the hotel is dog friendly, and the front desk staff very friendly and helpful. It is right across the highway from the Noyo Headlands park which is a great place for dogs and humans to walk.

Don't stay here. There was a large wet spot on the carpet of uncertain origin. The clerk looked at it but could do nothing because the hotel was full. The shower did not work. Wyndham should be ashamed of this property.

Outrunning the storm, I tried to stay at the motel I stayed in last year. I had no reservations and the one dog friendly room was taken so staff suggested I try the Super8. When I arrived, both staff were trying to get the computer to work, but before I knew it I had a nice clean room. And the skies opened up, just in time I was cozy with my dog in a pleasant spacious room. The room was clean, and nicely decorated. There was a nice road off the main highway, I could walk my dog. The bed was comfortable and the night was quiet.

Overall good size room especially for those who need wheelchair access. Quiet and comfortable. Recommendations: remodel bathroom so the toilet is in the same room as the shower and sink, fix the alarm clock, and mop the bedroom floor.
