Friendly staff Nice breakfast Good location for the town Good facilities in general but could do with an improved bar Kettle in room but no t bags or milk Wouldn't say it was a 4star hotel Lovely clean rooms

Stayed at this hotel for the festival. Me and a buddy of mine shared a room which was spacious. There are no drawers in the closet. Not even for your underwear. So that was a bit awkward while sharing. The hotel is small but it's very clean and very central. We're currently staying in the building in front of the hotel because we enjoyed the location. My complaint is two older ladies at reception who didn't know that we actually speak portuguese and we heard nasty comment made about us. They even accused us of stealing towels. The rest of the staff was pretty friendly to our face and even in portuguese. And this is why I'm giving them 2 stars instead of one. All in all I did not appreciate paying all that money to be accused of stealing towels in a language they thought I didn't speak. I'm better off staying in the building I'm in right now.

Arrived at hotel before midday was told room was not ready until 3 30 of which I've never experienced that as they no what time we are arriving. My wife and I decided to explore the Area and easily found the ***** it was straight out of main doors through a car park and straight down, some people turn right down to round about then left but there is no need to climb a little steep bank . After checking in we where giving keys to room which was 301 and situated on side of building room was clean with kettle and hairdryer and also safe. We had sun on balcony all afternoon until it went down. Breakfast was nice and something for all from 8am until 10.30 Sunloungers do need replacing or a topper put on them as not good. Pool I thought was good enough and water and temperature was tested . The beach down at front is fantastic we used the sun beds outside the surf restaurant only 15 euro for 2 for all day . The resort is nice and plenty restaurants to eat in ,very relaxing. We will go back to Alvor and also stay in same hotel ,staff very pleasant. We only had a short stay and we left at 7am so missed breakfast apparently if you ask them on day before your leaving they will put something up for you but really they should know.

Location- easy to walk into town

We enjoyed our stay at the Alvor Jardim - The staff were very good as was the breakfasts , we were in an alvor suite which didn't have a balcony ( my booking mistake ) but was of an excellent size. There was a dog that barked a lot on some nights in the early hours which was a bit annoying - but it was a private property next door so not much the Hotel could do about that. The Jardim is in a great location for getting in to the centre of Alvor which we loved and if going to Alvor again we would have no problem in choosing this Hotel again.

All of the staff were so friendly. Overall the hotel is kept very clean and the breakfast was excellent. It is absolutely perfect for access to the town centre, only a 5 minute easy walk also just 15/20 minute walk to the beach. Highly recommended.

Excellent staff, clean room, ok breakfast, close to town, but as previously stated reviews pool area needs an upgrade , broken sun beds and umbrellas , outside shower very dirty, off road parking but rear vrooms have small balcony no sun after midday and view of car park
