We have stayed at Pestana Alvor Park a few times over the past few years. We love going back as it’s a great place to stay. The location is very good for the town and local restaurants. The staff at the hotel are excellent, particularly Jose and Jorge who are always friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff do a great job. The accommodation in the apartments is very good, well set out and spacious and it makes for a relaxing stay. Hope to be back again next year!

Disappointed in room , small and couldn’t see view from balcony because l of palm tree totally blocking out view. Staff amazing, very helpful and very pleasant…. Understaffed. They worked very hard and what is asked of them is too much especially in the dining room and Bar areas. One person to deal with dining and serve customers at bar..

What a delight to return to one of our favourite places and be welcomed like family. We have been coming for many years now and the atmosphere has always been the same, friendly, calm, clean, great distance from the town and beach. The rooms are generous and kept beautifully clean by the lovely housekeepers who always ask if it’s convenient when you’re there and willingly return later if needed. The reception team especially Jose, Jorge, Antonio and the lady (sorry didn’t get her name) can’t do enough for you and are always willing to chat and help if you need it. Plenty of free parking and a great pool with lots of loungers and umbrellas. We did have a meal at the restaurant but it was awful weather and they were rather stretched as there were obviously more people than normal so service was a little slow, but the meal was good quality and reasonably priced. There was an entertainer one afternoon which disturbed the peace around the pool if you wanted quiet to read or sunbathe but she returned early one evening and it seemed a better time around dinner service. We had awful storms at the beginning of our holiday but the well stocked library kept us entertained. We will definitely return, just wish we could come more often!

We have stayed here about 5 times now. Never once is there any kind of issues. Hotel is quiet, clean and staff are always friendly. Hotel is walking distance to restaurants, groceries, shopping and beach although that might be a little far. Huge pool with lots of sun beds. Our unit was 1 bedroom with 2 bathrooms and a kitchen equipped with everything you would need. Lots of free parking . Lots of amenities on site, but we did not use so I really can’t comment. You would not be sorry to book and stay here.

Loved the Alvor Park. 1 bedroom apartments are huge, very clean and so much storage space! There was just 2 of us but the rooms would definitely confortably accommodate 4 guests. 2 bathrooms and fully equipped kitchen. The balcony was great , so big with a table, 4 chairs and 2 sun loungers allowing to to sit and soak up the last bit of sun in the evening. Drinks and snacks very reasonably priced, did not use the restaurant as wanted to go out and explore Alvor. A great pool and a garden area for those wanting to be away from the pool area. My only little to woyld maybe have some light backgroynd mysic, as I feel the pool area lacked a liitle atmosphere. However, we had a great time. Every member of staff was so friendly and greeted you. Well done Alvor Park. I will be recommending you x

Just back from 2 weeks at Alvor park the staff from the cleaner's to the reception staff and restaurant was first class as always rooms are spacious and well equipped for self catering. Special mention too George nothing was to much trouble. Will be back next year

Stayed recently for an adult only trip. The hotel was perfect for us, nice and quiet, no rowdiness, very clean and well kept. We had a huge room that would have catered for a family of 4, it certainly was the biggest room we've ever stayed in. Stayed on a B&B basis, breakfast was lovely and fresh, good choice too. The pool area was very relaxing, no sunbeds wars, you could get a bed at any time of the day. We enjoyed the walks to the town/ boardwalk/ beaches, it's nice to do some walks in the sun. Our first trip to Alvor, we'll be back again to the town and to the hotel.

All the staff are fantastic, Antonio on reception was particularly lovely. We had a superior studio with modern kitchen area, but also the benefits of a top class hotel, massive balcony with sea and garden views, huge bathroom with bath and powerful shower, bathrobes, massive TV, all spotlessly clean, can't wait to come back, thank you so much

Having read previous reviews, I was optimistic about this holiday, but the hotel exceeded expectations. It was kept immaculately clean all of the time, everywhere, by unobtrusive but friendly and cheerful staff. As others have said, it is a fair walk to the beach and Alvor centre, especially in hot weather. Also there are quite a few steps in the main bar so not a hotel for those with limited mobility. Most guests seemed to be middle aged, with one or two young families, pre school children. Live music twice a week in the afternoon/ early evening, which we enjoyed but if you are really after night life you need to head into Alvor. We had a one bed apartment which was clean and spacious and even had two bathrooms ! The pictures don't do the rooms justice. No real difference between the superior and standard, other than the superior ones are on higher floors. Really well equipped kitchen . Free pool towels as well. Thanks to everyone for a great holiday.
