Lift up the mattress covers and you will find the dirtiest mattresses you will ever see in your life, it is not set up for self catering with a small electric hob 1 medium sizes pan and a frying pan no toaster limited kitchen utility ware, the reception bar is a joke with very limited choice of drinks i have seen more alcohol in a garden shed,the bathroom is a disgrace with green mouldy taps a shower that si fitted to the wall 2 feet from the floor no shower curtain,i know greek accomodation is basic at times but at least the other hotels have the decency to show and tell you the truth about their accomodation.

What a holiday! I wish we had booked for 10 days rather than a week. Lovely and peaceful . The family that runs it is so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Plenty of sunbeds,without the usual rush of towels. We will certainly be coming back. It's a little gem

Basic studio but perfect for our needs. Travelled as a couple in our thirties seeking a peaful relaxing 10 days in the sun and that’s exactly what Litsa provided. Super quiet round the pool, plenty loungers. 10 mins walk if that to local bars and shops. Easy 20 mins stroll to the beach. Accommodation kept super clean and tidy and seems it’s the kinda place folk having been coming back to year on year. We may have been younger than the usual clientele but everyone was friendly and very welcoming. Will certainly return in the future.

Excellent accomodation. Clean tidy towels and even loo rolls replaced Quietish place ( reason everbody over retirement age. I am 72 but felt 92. Not a place for all peple. But its your choice. Bar..pathetic. no daught beers no sense .hmmm

The Litsa is set perfectly for piece and quiet but with easy access to all the facilities of the village. Accomodation is basic, including shower tray, and the catering facilities are basic. However if you asked, you got and as such would readily recommend the place. There was always sunbeds, even if some wanted to play Germans' at the crack of dawn, but overall loved the place.

If you like great Greek hospitality and the peace and quiet needed from working life then this newly found studio self catering location will hit the spot. Set 5 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Alykanas then this is right up your street. We are 23 years in visiting Zante and this resort is our first believe it or not. Tsilivi gives a really diverse offering and is now very busy, we love Kalamki which is a little quieter and Argassi is also nice but this is even more chilled. The hotel is Greek no cosmopolitan boutique so if that’s what your expecting look away now. However for those seasoned Greek travellers who like a little more than the offering of the lesser commercialised islands this location and resort ticks our box completely. Nestled between two green hillsides this is a perfect spot. Greek, clean and our room which I think looking at them all is the largest is brilliant.

Negatives Unfortunately some bad points need initial attention. No constant hot water, which is really disappointing. The hotel could only afford to turn it on about three times a day via a timer. Most flights via Jet2 arrive late in evening and when we arrived around 1030 the water was literally cold, not even Luke warm. The next morning when we slept in a bit, again no hot water. This was generally the pattern unless you timed your showers according to when the timer was set to! Unfortunately the accommodation was not really as described in the general description of the advert for the Jet2 holiday. For example the mattresses on the beds were really really old (I would say 12 plus years old) and very very hard, though the son of the owner said they were 3 years old (I don’t think so, please honesty is best).There were awful brown water/sweat stains on the underside of the mattress. You could also feel the metal frame of the mattress when sleeping. The family that run it said they can'e afford to update them until potentially next season, though I don't have any faith that they will, because they seem to make out that they are not making enough money for changes, despite being fully booked all this season. Self catering items This was a self catering studio and there was no tea towel/washing up sponge/washing up liquid. I mean it can’t take much to add a sponge for washing up and a tea towel! So make sure you bring any items you need yourself. Positives The family who run the studios are lovely people despite the fact that they must realise the flaws I have outlined above. The area adjacent to the hotel is very wild, green, which was the big plus factor for us and good views to the mountains. Plus a nice breeze runs through the studios if you open both the front entrance and the balcony doors. The pool is nice. The bar, nothing special, 6 euros for a Gin & Tonic etc. You could argue quite expensive. No music playing from bar so the accommodation was always nice and quiet. All the other guests I have to say were really lovely people. Conclusion No constant hot water and really old hard uncomfortable mattresses meant for us we won’t return despite a pleasant atmosphere about the place.

One of the nicest places I've stayed, very basic, extremely clean, Dennis & family could not do enough for us, my husband has Altzimers & they went out of there way to make sure he was looked after. Definitely going to return to what I can only say is our Greek family ❤️

Keep this place a secret! So peaceful and scenic. Family are adorable and nothing too much bother - rooms are basic but cleaned regularly and towels and sheets changed. No TV in the room to keep it peaceful - just how I like it. Location is perfect - near beach and restaurants but far enough away to avoid the noise. Pool just the right size and not too many rooms. Freshly made snacks and drinks at a friendly bar. Have been to Alykanas several times and have to say preferred this hotel to any others
