Hotel claims there are 77 steps. We had 109 steps to get to our room. Staff do not know what a smile is. They are very cold and ignored when I complained the TV does not work. It switches on, but no channels! I informed reception from our first day. I reminded them every day but they never attempted to solve it. They just smirk. Breakfast is very poor. Staff ignore you and you have to literally beg for coffee. Coffee is excellent though. Hotel has an excellent location if you don't mind the steps.

We arrived by night and booked the room with sea view. We were so happy seeing this. And you can directly look down to the only bar in Amalfi which is only a 5 minutes walk away. The bathroom was super nice and the view while having breakfast as well. The only thing I wanted to mention is the breakfast possibilities. If you’re vegan or vegetarian there aren’t many options and the only option is white bread or cake. But later we found out it’s pretty common in Italy to have such a breakfast, so we don’t mind that. Altogether it’s a super nice and beautiful hotel where you can enjoy the view and be directly in the city.

We stayed here 4 nights and the air conditioner did not work a single one. We slept with the windows open but it was still very hot. The bathroom lights were too dim, we did not receive shampoo/shower gel packets on the first day we arrived but maybe it was overlooked since we never mentioned it and we actually got them on the following days. The location was great, the views from our room and the shared patio were amazing. The breakfast was pretty good and the staff was friendly imo. The hotel was small but pretty cute. The 77 stairs is normal in Amalfi , not too big of a deal honestly as this hotel is in a prime location with multiple restaurants/shops nearby. I would stay again in this place if they fix the AC.

Good spot close to the beach, but the AC was not working and room was full of ants, and wasn’t given shampoo & body wash packet on one day or toilet paper.

Location location location …. Great view from terrace Just 100 steps up from square …. However customer service was obviously not in their staff training manual as they were a bit grumpy and unhelpful Needed a bit work eg . warm water shower, lights out, bit miserly on breakfast, coffee machine there… but not in use, wine display and fridge there .. but none for sale

Posto consigliatissimo come posizione perché non è a livello strada ma nemmeno arroccato in cima a chissà quante scale...solo 2 comode rampe di scale larghe e basse che partono dal cuore di Amalfi (la piazzetta dei Dogi, un vero salotto) e questo garantisce il silenzio e allo stesso tempo la assoluta centralità. Struttura completamente ristrutturata con le ceramiche di Vietri...personale gentile a parte Maria poco socievole e poco attenta alle esigenze del cliente (quando ho chiesto a colazione un the al limone - NB. Siamo nella terra dei limoni...- mi ha risposto laconicamente che li avevano finiti... Quando sotto il B&B c'è pure il fruttivendolo che vende limoni grandi come angurie....ma a parte questo piccolo dettaglio consiglio la struttura

Don’t waste your money at this place, stay at a different hotel. Air conditioning was not working and staff couldn’t care less. They were extremely disinterested and unfriendly. Hotel was in a loud area which made sleeping at night difficult too - needed an open window with A/C broken. Breakfast wasn’t great either compared to other hotels I have stayed at in Italy.
