Hotel Caretta was an excellent choice. Nearby to the airport and located next to the beach. Room was spacious, clean and hotel had nice amenities. WiFi was good, water clean, Staff very friendly. The hotel had bicycles available for guest use. There was a dive resort next door for those whom wanted to explore the ocean. The hotel had an on site restaurant that had great food (breakfast and dinner) and there were nearby izakayas for those whom wanted to try local places. Great time and would love to return. Thank you to the Staff of Hotel Caretta : )

I stayed here for one night during my trip to Amami! The room was very clean and stylish, and the smartphone charging facilities were perfect and easy to use. The location from the room was also great! I had dinner at the restaurant attached to the hotel, which was delicious. (Ise lobster pasta, local fish stewed in wine) The stargazing event that started at 9pm was also very satisfying, as I was able to listen to many stories about the stars while looking at the Amami sky! In the morning, I took a walk on the beach below the hotel and watched the sunrise.

〇 For those who value rooms (because it is about the same price), I think Native Sea's Adan on the Beach is good. (1st Adan on the Beach 2nd Tida Moon) 〇 For those who value cooking, Tida Moon is a good choice. (All the food photos are Tida Moon) However, only chicken rice is disappointing. (I live in Amami, so I've been eating here and there at home and chicken rice specialty stores.) It should contain sesame oil. Real chicken rice does not contain sesame oil. Because of chicken gala and sesame oil, it's more like Korean food than chicken rice. Others are like the creation of local cuisine (Amami's original local cuisine is not so fashionable, it may be a lump that even pulls meat), and it is easy to eat for those who come to Amami for sightseeing. think. I have a working experience in studying in Japan, and I can do it in Japanese. It is very good to this hotel. The human environment and the natural environment are super good. However, there is no Japanese-based travel advice with a translation to the island or a preparation for three meals at the hotel. The food is very good. The island has not been developed and all are three words, which is inconvenient. No car, it is abolished

GGuest UserMy wife found it in a magazine and said she really wanted to go, so I went to Amami for the first time to celebrate Kishou. As you can see in the photos, it was a very nice villa-type hotel. The staff (a lot of them are immigrants from Kanagawa Prefecture) are also young, bright and very kind. It was a pleasant stay and it became a good memory. The room is made of concrete and has a simple but elaborate design. However, when the outside temperature is around 15 degrees Celsius at this time of year, it's a little chilly, and even with the air conditioner at 29 degrees, it's still cold. It should be cool in warm weather. The adjacent restaurant is Italian and only has an a la carte menu. Not much choice so staying more than 2 nights is a bit of a problem. But the chef (he is also from Shonan) has a great taste. On the second day, I changed the taste in various ways and it was delicious. thank you! The room is equipped with a nice kitchen, so you can cook for yourself. On the day of the local tour departure early in the morning, they prepared a nice breakfast lunch box for takeout. Mr. Denpaku is developing various projects to preserve local traditions and legends, and I was happy to see young people working hard. Please do your best.

The rice is very good and the beach is nearby, so it is perfect for spending a luxurious time.
This room is a wooden house with high ceilings and a touch of woody fragrance. The ceiling fan invites you to travel.
Taking a step to the balcony, the stars look very beautiful, and the sounds of various creatures come and go.
I feel that I have found something forgotten in my city life.
