I stayed at the Holiday Inn for the Fourth of July weekend as we did the shoreline cruise on the S.S. Badger. From the last time I was here in 2019, this hotel improved even though it looks the same. The hotel is spotless, the night sleep is good if you know how to approach it correctly, and there are nice facilities. First is cleanliness. My room - a regular two-queen bedroom - was great in cleanliness. In the bed, there were no bed bugs. On the towels in the rooms, there were no stains. Everywhere else in the room, there was no annoying dust. Everything was great! This level of cleanliness was seen throughout the hotel. My Rating for this Category: 5/5 Next, the night's sleep. The night's sleep at this Holiday Inn is going to be better if you use the firm pillows located right behind the soft pillows. Also, do not make the room too hot; 67F should work just fine, but do not make it too much warmer. The bed was extremely comfortable; however, when moving about in the bed, the bed makes some loud and annoying creaks. My Rating for this Category: 4/5 Finally is the facilities. This Holiday Inn has free breakfast, a pool with a hot tub, a fitness center, and chocolate chip cookies from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. I only used the pool, and the pool did not have too much chlorine, which was nice. The hot tub was rather large for a hotel hot tub. The breakfast was your standard hotel breakfast, and that is fine. My Rating for this Category: 5/5 I want to point out one more thing: the customer service. Everyone, from the front desk staff to the manager, was extremely friendly and bubbly. They always made you feel welcomed, and if you needed anything, you did not feel like you were bothering them in the process. If you are staying in Ludington, this is the must-stay-at hotel; this is the best option in the area. The hotel is clean, the hotel offers a good night's sleep, and there are good facilities. I would recommend this Holiday Inn to anyone staying in the Ludington area.
Very Good
