Great service by all at the hotel. Beautiful scenery. Snorkeling excursion with their partner company was on time and enjoyable. Aside from that, it's in a desolate location. Absolutely nothing to do around, and the hotel makes no effort to create events to keep guests entertained. Slept without dinner first night because even though we were told the restaurant closes at 7:30, when we reached out at 7 it was already closed. Food is very subpar. Drinks even lower. Rent a golf cart when you get into San Pedro, because if you wait till you get to the hotel, they're going to charge you 3-4x the amount it costs over there. I get up charging a bit, but that just seemed like they were taking advantage of the situation. You get what you pay for. We decided on this vs Grand Caribe because of the included breakfast, but absolutely wasn't worth it and food was subpar. Stay closer to town unless you want to do nothing but lay by the beach, pay for over priced drinks and microwavable food. Or rent a golf cart, but it is a bumpy and long ride.

This is a great get away place to stay. The staff was wonderful, Alex at the bar was great and Yaniri in the front desk made sure everything was set up perfectly. It's far enough out of town to be secluded yet close enough to Secret Beach and Town to enjoy what it has to offer as well.

We planned our first trip to Belize with relaxation in mind and X’Tan Ha fit the bill. We had a beautiful ocean view from our room. Also had a small kitchenette and were able to get some groceries to make breakfast every morning. The resort offered some great food as well and the drinks were excellent. Staff is very friendly, helpful and grounds were very clean. They even decorated our room to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Secret Beach is close and we also had some great choices for dinner nearby. Highly recommend taking a quick 15 minute flight to the island and the resort arranged the taxi transfer (for a fee). Our golf cart was waiting for us and there was plenty of parking. We only went to town a few times as it was too busy and crowded for us. That’s why X’Tan is the perfect choice for a quiet, serene and relaxing vacation. We highly recommend and will definitely be back.

We spent a week South of San Pedro and a week at X Tan Ha. Although we enjoyed both weeks, X Tan Ha was hands down our favorite resort. From the warm and friendly staff to the immaculately maintained grounds, the delicious food to the serene and peaceful setting. Top notch all the way! Not only will we be returning, we're looking to purchase. Feels like home! See you soon.

Every review this hotel has is one 100 percent correct. The rooms are exactly as it shows in the pictures. I can't say the something about the other hotels. The pictures are deceitful . The staff on X'tan Ha Resort were amazing. Above all the location is great. It's away from the madness of San Pedro which I wouldn't recommend it. if you want to experience tranquility. On the same note if you want to buy groceries you will have to do this in town even though there are some restaurants too but again not too close either. Nonetheless, the hotel does have a restaurant inside the property. Now, the only problem with the hotel and it's the only problem is the wifi. Wifi didn't seem to work very well on our stay but this doesn't stop us from recommending this place to everyone. I wanted to say we loved this place. So far it's the best stay we have had and trust me we travel a lot.

It was an awesome resort. Its off the beat and path, and a welcoming rest from the San Pedro town area. They have a nice onsite restaurant and bar on the water. The staff was very friendly. We enjoyed the Kayaks and sunsets . Our room had a refrigerator and kitchen area the bed was comfortable

My sister and I went in March and had a beautiful stay- the resort staff were great Our villa was amazing The views impeccable Friendly guests I felt we got a great value for the money and we are planning to return when we can Really great place enjoy if you go!! One thing- the tour business that books from the dock at the hotel is also awesome and books amazing tours and we highly recommend them too- tuff enough

The resort is a perfect experience on the island providing you with your own space to relax and enjoy without being too far from anything to do on the island. Nearly every place you'd stay on San Pedro will be a golf cart ride away regardless of resort and X'Tan Ha provides the perfect amount of seclusion. The food at the restaurant onsite is phenomenal, we never had a bad meal. The staff is incredibly helpful and attentive to detail and provides so much information to make sure you get the most out of your stay. They handle as much or as little of your vacation/stay as you'd like. The rooms are perfect for becoming a home away from home on vacation. Everything you could need, they provide or help you figure out. The people were fantastic, the food was great, and the location and amenities were great; no complaints. There were also other guests while we were there who had been to Belize many times and chose X'Tan Ha each time, which said a lot to us and we will be doing the same should we make it back to San Pedro.

Excellent Staff!! Everyone was amazing!! Yaniri kept me informed via email regarding reservations prior to arrival, took care of transportation to and from Belize, had my room decorated upon arrival in honor of my birthday, so beautiful, ALSO recommended an amazing place for dinner. Joel and Chino went above and beyond to help with reservations for a walking food tour, no phone# was listed on the Trip Advisor site to book a reservation ( I only knew of the tour guides name, Melva) They were able to locate the name and phone# of the tour, and I was able to make the reservation. The tour was well worth it. Crissy was also very helpful, in addition, she gave us a tour of the different units on the property (so next time we can bring our family or friends). Rubin and Alex were so friendly and kept our belly"s full with delicious food and beverages throughout our stay. House cleaning did a great job as well, it's always nice to come back to a nice clean room after being out all day. Overall my husband and I had a great experience and will definitely be back. Once again thanks to you all!!
