Breakfast, lunch and dinner were really great! Compliments to the chefs! The service was attentive, quiet (and at an appropriate distance) but also paid attention to the guest.
The room was perfect in terms of location and super clean. The kettle with coffee and tea is much appreciated.
We rented an e-bike on the t****th day. Wonderful cycling in the area. Many possibilities. Cycling routes were available in the hotel.
Tip for the hotel: Some more information (than just providing the bicycle key, battery and shed key from reception) is desirable. Especially if you are using an e-bike for the first time.

Basic room with balcony is large but not a fan of the misted glass bathroom door where you can see someone sitting on the toilet 🤭 Beaware of the conditions when you have a voucher for the 3 course meal ...they give you a different menu like a lunch menu and if you want food that's on the full paid menu you have to pay extra and that can raise the costs above the full price again Sneeky sobs 🤯. Second night I was there one young waiter wasn't very forth coming with this price costs twist and was a bit rude asking for proof of booking. My stay generally was ok and he reception staff friendly . I would stay there again a bit wiser! ....shame theres no pool tho but plenty of land to put on in .

Wij zaten hier 1 nachtje en het was goed vertoeven. De kamer is eenvoudig en oudbollig. De locatie vonden wij top voor 1 nachtje. Je wandelt zo het bos in en de tuin en terras is heerlijk groots en ruim opgezet. Ik geef een gemiddelde beoordeling omdat ik het hotel geen 4 sterren waard vind. Vooral qua faciliteiten en luxe van de kamer vind ik dit hotel aan de magere kant. Positief is dat je er heerlijk kunt wandelen en zo naar Kamp Amersfoort kunt mocht je van historie houden. Het restaurant is prima. Ook geen 4 sterren maar prima voor 1 keer. Zou hier niet een aantal dagen willen zitten.
