***Please be careful before booking here, it looks more like a SCAM than a relaxed stay.*** We booked an expensive Suit room W/ Jacuzzi at this hotel to celebrate our 2023-2024. Well, this was the Worst Experience ever. Since we arrived, the Suite Room had issues with Leakage to the floor under our room. Room service kept coming to our room almost every 30min to an hour. They kept coming to check the same thing, nothing to see in our room. So with this the first day was already RUINED! We couldn’t relax because people kept coming to the door. Next day again same thing since the early morning room service and the hotel technician kept bothering us. As if we did something wrong but we didn’t, we couldn’t, we just arrived at the hotel Suite… Then they ask us to leave the room for at least 1 hour so they can ‘Try’ to fix the issue. We declined. Then randomly 30 minutes later our airconditioning stopped working, sweating in the SUITE room they couldn’t fix it. After all this, we decided to leave earlier then we wanted. We travel allot and visit different hotels in Europe. But this, for a very expensive SUITE room to have so many issues was crazy. Never had such a bad experience before at a hotel, especially a Suite room Hotel. We also we asked our money back, but only got a percentage back and as a compensation they gave us just 2 bottles of water… So yes, we had to pay for the first day, while they kept bothering us the whole time. Very very unprofessional of this hotel and staff. We had to pay for the night we couldn’t even relax because of faulty SUITE ROOM. Please be careful before booking here, it looked more like a SCAM than a relaxed stay.

The hotel is very good near the station and center. The room is allowed to have some maintenance but also a beautiful large room.

Good hotel, breakfast is well arranged and dinner is also good. The room is clean, but the bathroom is dated, you can use a refreshment round, the shower is not good. When check-in and check-out is not all staff is just as friendly or professional, something went wrong with my breakfast booking via trip.com, eventually contacted customer service and then it was solved. But the hotel did a very strange thing about this... this isn't our problem...

We are very happy about our stay in Amersfoort: Prima reception: you feel welcome On the room there is no air conditioning, but the ventilator stood on when we entered: very attentive! The clothing is a little old - no problem for us. It would be pleasant to make a little better light in the bathroom above the mirror, because there you really don't see enough in the morning, but that's the only thing. We had the junior suite with a beautiful refrigerator and a good box. A lovely bed and great lighting and everything worked (which is not always the case today in hotels) This room is a little bigger and therefore a little expensive, but for longer stay - in our case 12 nights - you have more room and comfort. The restaurant and the terrace offer all the possibilities. The people who serve and the people at the bar ( entrance) have all the attention to the guests. We felt the workers form a good team and work with pleasure there. In short, we would like to come back to you once

Lovely room and bathroom very large and well appointed. Cleanliness excellent and quiet. Food OK - My partner likes a full English and eggs were either scrambled or boiled, no baked beans, hash browns or sausages, the bacon was smoked and the potato option was very spicy so a little disappointing. I like scrambled egg with tomato and mushrooms and the tomatoes were covered in cheese! and the mushrooms wet and spicy! All other breakfast options were plentiful and good. The main meals were of limited choice and the quality went from good on the 1st evening to poor on the third and last evening. The soups were far too salty and a bread roll would have been appreciated. The accompaniment to the main meal was always chips and salad which were good and plentiful but some vegetables would have been good. Staff service was always good and friendly.

I'm currently staying at the bastion hotel, we arrived late on Sunday but the restaurant was still open, I'm here as a group on business and so far as a collective we seem very pleased with our experience, special mentions to Anouk and Ben who stand out as very professional!! And also all other staff at the hotel! I'm sorry as I've not had time to catch their names yet. If in the future I get the chance to travel to this area I will be very grateful if it is to this hotel!! Many thanks to the Bastion staff!!

The coffee machine didn’t work, the freezer also didn’t work. For the rest it’s a good hotel!
