Fantastic hotel, old and quirky in beautiful surroundings. The staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble especially the lovely gentleman on reception when we arrived. The room had everything to make our stay comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic, so much choice compared to the usual full English and all so fresh and good quality. An all round great stay and I would definitely book again if I was in the area

We loved the Crown Hotel in Amersham. The location is great. Service was excellent. The old Tudor style cabin room was unique and fun, good bed, nice bathroom with towel warmer.

The Crown is a beautiful old coaching inn in the heart of Amersham old town. The staff were helpful and I’m torn over whether it’s “very good” or “average”. I’ve marked in down because of the heavy water leak we experienced directly over our bed in our original room. ( We were quickly moved but it didn’t seem new). Additionally the air conditioning in that room didn’t work on heat and our room wasn’t serviced between night one and night two. I filled the hotel’s feedback as requested and didn’t hear back from them. The hotel needs maintenance and while the bathroom have been modernised the bedrooms are a bit spartan. Breakfast was good.

Very disappointing overall I'm afraid this time. It was far more expensive than I had ever paid here before (good job it was for business), my room had no where to hang clothes and the bar had 3 draught beers all of which were not working.

The hotel is in an excellent location for London, and our trip to Wembley was easy. The bar areas and restaurant were excellent. The garden and courtyard are perfect for that evening drink. Parking was busy (Fri & Sat). The room was tiny, and my husband & I found it too small to both get ready at once - one had to be on the bed !

First class service, which is the he most important thing for me; staff just so pleasant and attentive. Lovely room with large bath tub and separate shower room. Breakfast l, with lots of variety to finish off an anniversary overnight stay. Best regards and many thanks to the Crown Old Amersham Robin

3 friends came to stay to celebrate a 50th birthday and what a surprise we had. This hotel is a little gem! Perfect location, amazing staff, gorgeous courtyard (the sun shone) beautiful food! We really did have the best time on our 2 night stay. The ONLY negative is that as guests we were charged service charge on drinks and food we ate in the hotel
