Good clean quality hotel nice service and easy to deal with

I was nervous because I booked the room before I read the reviews. Luckily everything was good and if I hadn't read the reviews, it wouldn't even have occurred to me that something could be wrong. It was very quiet. It was clean, maybe not the newest but fine. Looks like the rooms were renovated. One star off for Continental breakfast instead of full breakfast. It's not fancy but quite serviceable.

March 2024- under construction, heat didn’t work in the room, my mom who has to use a walker had to use stairs to get to second floor bc there was no elevator. Continental breakfast was pitiful. Hopefully people have a better experience once they’re construction is done.

Horrible. Disgusting. My events coordinator stated that this was the place not to go and they 'rent rooms by the hour'. Mold in the fridge, caked on dirt on the floor, light switch... stains on the pillows and sheets, hair found in the bed and on the 'coffee cups' they provide. After my event coordinator mentioned the rent-by-hour I immediately called my boss to change hotels- go to the Marriott. Much better stay

Basic room and clean lodging, had a refrigerator and microwave. Room was inexpensive and the location had easy access to a lot of different fast food restaurants. Would stay here again, checkin and checkout was fast and easy even though I was booking last minute.

this hotel has a great location if you are going Iowa State University, but the amenities, Service, breakfast leave a lot to be desired.

Although room was refreshed, my wife refused to stay there because of construction work in rest of the building - she sensed mold, etc from construction work. She has a high sensitivity. the site should have stated that rooms are cheap because among construction but it didnt

The room was old and in disrepair. There was no working electrical outlet in the bathroom. There was construction going on at all hours of the day and night just above and just beside my room - even on the weekend. There were some creepy people roaming around the halls. I elected to check out early due to all these things, and the manager refused a refund for the 4 remaining days on my reservation. I had to escalate it multiple times to ******* before I was finally given a refund. Awful experience there! I would not recommend at all!
