Nice service, delicious food, somehow near to the city center.

Good place

The service attitude is very good. The location is excellent. It is right in the center of the old city commercial street. Sitting on the balcony, you can see the scenery. There are no slippers🩴 Of course, after I came out, I found out that this is a common problem. I bought them from the stall opposite for 2.5 Jordanian dollars🩴. When I left, I told the uncle on night shift to put them in the bathroom for everyone to use. Here are two reminders. First, I don’t know how often the sheets and blankets will be washed. Second, there is no separate bathroom. But the price is low and it is located in a bustling city. It is only a short walk away from many attractions. We accidentally took a shortcut at the ruins of the ancient city wall at the top of the mountain. The locals were very welcoming. We took a small path to go up the mountain without any entrance fee. Average, not recommended to stay.

Old backpacker room. No toilet, shower, or air conditioner! Wi-Fi is also poor. The single room is too expensive, the best nearby hotel is 25JOD😀

Excellent location. Satisfied with the room.

Good location in the middle of downtown. However, the cleanliness is not good. The blankets had a lot of things on them, and the shower room wasn't very clean either. It was difficult to control the temperature of the hot water in the shower. Well, it's a cheap hotel, so it's worth the price. No problem if you just want to sleep cheaply. I didn't apply, but it looks like you can apply for a day trip the next day.

We have been using this hostel several times a year, for several years now. We are always very satisfied! The hostel is very conveniently located in the center of Amman, close to the market and historical sites. It is very clean and well maintained. In addition to accommodation, it also offers organised tourist tours of Jordan's sights. A special chapter is formed by the owner Fouad George and the entire staff of the hostel. They are all very helpful, helpful and kind. For our group, usually from 8 to 14 people, we highly recommend it! RobiI

These guys know hospitality. My stay was amazing from beginning to end. The price was very reasonable. Fuad, the owner, took time to get to know me and we came up with a plan so I would get the most out of my stay. He pointed me in the direction of the Citadel and Theater, “It is close to walk to so you won’t need a taxi. Save you money.” The truth is: Cliff Hotel is across the street from the oldest and best restaurant in Jordan and is reasonably priced. It’s close to the museums. It’s close to the Citadel and Roman Theater. It’s close to shops and things to do. They handle the tours and travel for you all over Jordan. The hotel is clean and the staff is extremely friendly. Fuad set me up with his son, George, who personally took me to Petra, Wadi Rum (with Bedouin camp stay, jeep, meals, music and petroglyphs with a personal Bedouin guide), a dip in the Dead Sea at a very nice resort, and a stop in Jerash. I never felt rushed and George was right there with tips of when to be specific places, what to avoid, history, geology, and local culture information. I mentioned in passing that I would like to learn to cook Jordan traditional food. On my last day George set me up at a local cooking school and I had a blast! Everybody knew George and Fuad everywhere we went. I felt like royalty. You can tell these guys have been doing this a LONG time and have an excellent reputation. I had my dream trip and spent half or less than what I would have had I gone with another hotel or tour company. Again, these guys know hospitality and there is no reason to go anywhere else.

My honest advice is DON’T STAY THERE. This place is a disaster by all means for the following reasons: 1-Rooms are extremely tight with no air conditioning in a very hot summer. 2-Sixteen rooms share only 2 toilet seats and 2 shower rooms. 3-toilet rooms are beyond disaster. There are pee drops on the rims and water flooding most of the time. 4-Showers are unprepared and offer nothing. Very tight, no hangers to hang your dirty or clean clothes, unsecured locks, no privacy… simply, there’s no way you can get clean there. You enter the shower, you get dirtier than before! 5-One of the managers was the rudest ever! Very insensitive to me complaining about the miserable conditions in the bathroom and careless. 5-Rooms are the highest floor with no elevator and a tight staircase where you have to battle to get your luggage up and down. 6-Very smelly and stinky, dirty bedsheets that they don’t seem to clean after each guest because I saw dirt from the previous guests. Please never book this disgusting place.
