Baan Amphawa Resort & Spa Reviews

We stayed in a Superior Double-bed room for one night on the weekend. The place is located about 5-minutes drive from the Amphawa Floating Market but next to the Mae Klong river, which is very nice. The resort is clean, quiet, well-decorated and surrounded with beautiful garden setting. The staff are friendly and willing to help at any time. Breakfast was included while we booked and it offered a variety of food. There are two swimming pools, one children playground in the resort and plenty of bicycles that you can borrow for free of charge. Too bad that we didn't manage to spend time swimming so we didn't bring our swimming suits. Perhaps, next time.

The natural atmosphere is quiet, peaceful, and shady. There is also knowledge about trees. The hotel is located on the riverside.

First time staying here. I really like that I chose to stay because I like Thai houses. Located next to the waterfront, famous for food of various standards. It's a shame that we didn't come to use the spa. Next time, if we come again, we will book the spa.

The service is very good. There are many green plants in the hotel, which is very suitable for relaxing.

The hotel is a typical Thai resort, which is characterized by an excellent location, tradition and picturesque surroundings, but at the same time a minimum of comfort and amenities. The room is spacious, but completely without soundproofing (a huge full-wall window, behind which the movement of staff began at 7 am), very uncomfortable pillows (apparently the cheapest), dust on the bedside tables. The food in the restaurant is only Thai, but very tasty and cheap. The breakfast menu is excellent, although not extensive. The staff tried to be helpful, smiling, especially the waiter named Mekh did it, special thanks There is no more desire to come, but also to criticize sharply. Usual, typical, safe and okay.

We had a lovely and very memorable stay at this wonderful hotel including a delicious dinner (deep fried sea bass filet) by the river after a beautiful evening swim. The staff are gracious, professional and knowledgeable. We hope to return one day.

Booked in our tour itinerary- a great disappointment. We were told this would be a mid range 4 star Resort. Nothing of the sort. The door to our room would not lock so we had to take all our belongings with us. Place looked fairly run down and not designed for international travellers at all. Breakfast was very limited. Although the staff were very pleasant we were so grateful for a one night stop over only.

very nice hotel with swimming pool and pool bar. the rooms are very beautiful the restaurant is large and with a beautiful view of the river. the welcome and service is top notch. the hotel is located in two sites intersected by a road but it is very quiet.

Check-in was absolutely chaotic. Due to Covin 19 numerous documents were necessary. 3 people talked into me at the same time, but hardly any English was spoken. We booked a pool villa. On arrival the bed for the daughter was missing. An extra mattress was then brought to us and placed on the floor, 1 A extra bed, and the room looked antique! Breakfast was ok and the SPA nice and friendly. Unfortunately the resort is out of the way and you need a taxi for everything, although the price was ok. One way to Train Market 100 THB. I wouldn't give the resort 4 stars, I could accept 3. Price performance much too high.
